Edit: the dentist office is a great one for industry standards. The office staff are kind and they try their best to listen. The doctor also spent time writing up a personalized plan for me. I’m a needed patient and they try their best. I appreciate it. I’m came back to get my tooth extracted. Hoping all is well.

This dentist office reminds me of everything that is wrong with dentistry in USA. If you do not have enough money or if you do not come with the right questions and requests, you can forget about having a good experience. It’s literally like pulling teeth with these people. They don’t willingly share any information. They only share the obvious. I went in because of a chipped tooth that unfortunately got infected. I knew this prior to coming in because I was in terrible pain. They took a X-ray of my broken tooth and prescribed antibiotics for only $156! What a deal!! I shared with them that I would be traveling for the next week, and they neglected to consult that I should probably get on a stronger pain medication. While on the plane, I was completely helpless as the pain was unmanageable. I cried quietly. My ear, throat, head, gum, and tooth was hurting to the point that I wanted to jump off the pain. This office is such a joke. The doctor is more than likely overworked and lacks multicultural skills and the business models sucks. Why not share more information like how to prevent feeling helpless on an airplane with a tooth infection? This is what I needed, but good help is hard to come by.

I first went here because it was so close to my new place but I’m so happy I did. I love this team! I’ve been coming here for almost a year now and I’m glad I found my dentist office. The ladies in the front, I wish I have their names but are so welcoming. My hygienist, Desiree was the first person I saw and of course she’s great. She was thorough and gave me solid feedback and was a great intro imo. My assistant, whom I loveee Manrique! He’s the best!! His energy is so warm and I can go on and on about him. I’ve seen other assistants and they were all cool as well, very personable. And Dr McCollum is awesome. He really pays attention and listens to me, makes me feel validated in all my concerns. He is doing something right because his staff is happy and friendly. Besides seeing other people and working through appointment scheduling, I really feel like I’m their only patient lol. And they validate and work with my insurance. 10/10

I’ve been an Atlanta resident for 20+ years and I have been to many different dentists. Midtown Smile Center is by far the best dentist I’ve been to in Atlanta. They’re kind and considerate of everyone’s situation and understand that most dental procedures are a significant expense for many clients. I have never felt anything but seen and cared for at Midtown Smile Center. They’re conveniently located, validate parking and have a wonderful staff, from the dental experts to the front office team they all seem to care about you personally and ensure you have a pleasant experience…at the dentist!
