Horrible middle aged receptionist. I live in the area since 2008 and decided to call about dental cleaning for OW recipients for my “girls” (children) the receptionist mentioned that ow don’t cover for teeth cleaning only emergency work like tooth extractions. I mentioned if she’s familiar with healthy smiles and she mentioned yes they don’t cover for tooth cleaning.upon doing my own research it states that healthy smiles cover teeth cleaning. I called back and spoke to the same receptionist and explained that teeth cleaning is covered under healthy smiles coverage for children. She then says that I never mentioned it was for my daughters I said yes I did and she proceeded to laugh on the phone. I was shocked with her customer service. I hung up the phone and walked across the street to their office and asked for a manager. Let’s just say the conversation didn’t go well. There was no acknowledgment for their bad customer service instead the manager mentioned it could be a misunderstanding. The receptionist was called in to the room and blandly lied in my face and said I never mentioned my children. I said I did mention teeth cleaning for my girls and asked if she’s familiar with healthy smiles coverage. There was no misunderstanding, this clinic discriminates against OW recipients and I will be following up with the human rights tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) and filing a claim against this business.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Been to this dentist in the past and loved it- only flaw in the place is one specific receptionist. Despite being middle aged and most likely having experience, she’s caused issues with me and my family and treated us with so much disrespect every time we’ve been to this dentist. Cant help but feel as though race is playing a big part here. Disappointed me knowing I wouldn’t be going back to an otherwise lovely dentist because of this cycle.

My 5 year old daughter had alot of work to be done, i was on limited income and the staff worked with a profram that offset the costs and made us all feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Chin was outstanding with her and quick. She was never scared to come back to get more done..the opposite actually!!! The whole experience was wonderful and i thoroughly reccommend anyone to use this dental office.
