Dr. Andy is good. This review is almost soley based on his office person, Kathy. We are new to the area and have a new dental insurance. I needed a crown and paid my portion the day of the appointment. As I am phobic of the dentist and needed some serious work done I called in asking for a prescription for one Valium. She told me it wasn’t a big appointment and that I would be fine and hung up. I then called to cancel the appointment as I was having major anxiety and she conceded to ask the dentist who of course wrote the prescription. Crown has been in for two weeks and today I get a call about owing an additional $506 that was paid from insurance to me, presumably towards the $844 I had already paid towards the crown. She starts screaming at me that people scam them everyday and she’s going to report me to a credit bureau. Totally unprofessional as all I asked for was an itemized bill explaining what she was screaming about as it was unclear to me. I’ll call the insurance company to work this out but will absolutely not return here to be harassed.

As far as the actual dental work, a lot of my top molar was shaved off for the bottom molar crown which was not communicated prior to appointment and I think that expectations are important to set, especially when major changes to the mouth are being made.

If I could give Molar Bear Dental 10 stars I would.
Dr. Andy Nyugen is a wonderful person and he makes you feel like you’re old friends. He made sure I was comfortable and stayed comfortable and pain-free throughout my visit.I felt no pain during my visit. He’s very professional and has a great personality. Kathy, the office manager is so friendly and she’s very knowledgeable about your dental insurance coverage. I was there twice in two weeks and this is the first time in my life, I did not dread seeing a dentist. So, of you’re looking for an exceptional dentist go to Molar Bear Dental. I’m so happy I found them. My whole family is going to be patients of Dr. Nyugen. Thank you Molar Bear Dental!

My experience with Molar Bear Dental for the past 4 years has been nothing but exceptional. Mr. Nguyen is very proficient in what he does. He really takes time to talk to you and show care when performing dental procedures. He tries his best to minimize the pain by constantly asking “how are you feeling, any pain?” He takes pride in what he does. Your comfort is his priority. I have a better relationship with my dentist than I have with my primary care. Love the instrumental music. Jackie the receptionist is also great and fun to talk to.
