My experience at Moonlight beach dental was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I scheduled an appointment for a second opinion on treatment, but upon arrival, I was mistakenly booked for a 15-minute emergency visit. Despite spending three hours at the office, the doctor did not conduct a physical examination.

Initially, I was assured by multiple staff members that my next appointment and the scan fee would be waived due to their scheduling error and the lack of examination. However, after leaving the office, I was informed that I would be charged $500 for the next visit and an additional $350 for a new scan, despite them already having my scan available.

I had already paid $120 for the initial visit where no physical examination was performed. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating, especially considering the promises made by their staff regarding future charges and the quality of care.

I urge the office to honor their commitments and clarify their billing practices to avoid similar issues for other patients.

This was one of the WORST experiences I’ve had. I went in because I was In a lot of pain and I was told I needed a tooth extracted. Dr. Vane was very judgmental she immediately looked at me with disgust because and I believe it’s because I am trans and I have tattoos. I told her I have neck pain and i preferred to stand until she was ready do the exam and she made it clear she was irritated with me. She didn’t have a plan and made me feel hopeless. I started to cry because I was so let down by the experience and she had no sympathy she was very cold. The only thing that made me feel better was her assistant. Lani went above and beyond and took time to help me feel better and explain some options which is what Dr. Vane should have done. I also have autism and Dr. Vane is definitely not someone who is patient which is what I need most. Please don’t waste your money. The only good thing is she does include a Cone beam CT scan with the exam that helps see infection and it was cheaper than other offices.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Moonlight Beach Dental. I went in for what should have been a routine procedure, but the work performed was subpar and left me with more problems than I initially had. The inlay crown they performed fell out.

Not only did the dental work fail way sooner than it should have, causing me pain and inconvenience, but when I reached out to the office, they refused to respond, acknowledge any fault or honor my amicable request for reimbursement. I contacted the office three times over the course of the week and only got radio silence.

The lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable, and I strongly advise against trusting Moonlight Beach Dental with your dental care. Save yourself the trouble and find a dentist who stands by their work and treats their patients with respect.
