Reviews:
I went into this dentist initially being very impressed with my first visit. I got a good cleaning. The hygienist was good. Everyone seemed quite pleasant. I had a couple of cavities filled there. Moving from another dentist’s office to this one I obviously had to take some x-rays. Now before taking the x-rays I did tell them that my previous dentist informed me about two surface cavities. After the xrays and some poking around, they agreed. They were able to treat those two cavities the same day of the cleaning. I felt that was very convenient. Everything went well. Now here’s the thing. I KNOW I don’t have a good dental plan. I KNOW it does not perform as adequately as other plans would. And I DO KNOW that I am limited to a certain number of fillings annually. However, don’t you think despite not being able to have more than two cavities filled, I should at least be INFORMED about an additional two I had that were unknown to me? So that was my last visit before everything got thrown against the wall in 2020 and I was needless to say a bit behind schedule with cleanings. I went in this year only to be asked if “I wanted to take care of those other two cavities” that day. What other two cavities? So that’s awesome. I understand they have to comply with what my dental plan will allow them to do, but they didn’t have the good graces to at least say ” Hey! Yeah. There’s a couple more here.” So that I could at least KNOW about them and possibly focus on those areas a bit more? Very tone deaf. I’m just thinking about all the time I wasted that I could have used to figure out having these others taken care of. Its hard to do any of that when they don’t even bother telling you that those cavities exist in the first place. Wouldn’t you say? Go for a cleaning. Thats about all I’d say was a positive experience.
I’m almost 30yrs old but I’m such a baby when it comes to having any work done on my teeth (big or small). Today I came in thinking I would get a fill in but unfortunately I had a cavity so plans changed. Honestly, Wilma always make me feel relaxed during every visit. She takes her time to explain what needs to be done and she basically holds my hand (not literally) the whole time. For me, if Wilma is not there I will reschedule. Yes, she’s that GOOD! I also can’t forget Dr. Steven he was patient and considerate about any pain I may have. Those two are a DREAM TEAM! They both are very polite, professional and have great interpersonal communication skills. Thank you so much Wilma and Dr. Steven!!!!
They do not know how to numb you properly at this place. During crown replacement on the lower tooth, I still felt some pain and they kept stopping the procedure to put more anesthesia in different areas until they found the spot. At the next appointment, they waited less than 2 minutes after the anesthesia to start drilling the cavity and I felt some pain because of it. Terrible experience for those who are scared of going to the dentist.
