Reviews:
They have done terrible job to my tooth. It was 18th of July last year when i had visited their clinic. My tooth wall just broke up few days ago before i visit their clinic. When i went there they took a picture to see the condition on all of my teeth, before they start working on my tooth. They saw i have no nerves on this tooth that they are going to work on. Despite that i was asked if i want an injection for the pain and i explained them that i don’t need it due to i have no nervs on this tooth anyway and i will not feel any pain. That was the first sign that indicates to me about their incompetence. However the lady dentist started working on my tooth. She just cleared up the rotening around the wall i had broken, but she didn’t clean the whole decay what was deeply up to the root on this tooth. While she was cleaning the wall on the tooth she grinded down the dental crown on the front tooth (what was expensive to make it in the past). So she demaged the dental crown on the front tooth. Then she put a tooth filler without clearing all of the decay all the way down to the root on this tooth i had broken wall and that was prerequisite this decay to work and to keep roting inside and getting worst over the time. On top of that the lady dentist filled up so much material to fill that tooth and she didn’t smooth it down and it was ugly when i was smiling and i could feel the place very rough when i was touching it with my tang. Few motns later i had to go back to my country where i am originally from and the dentist here barely saved my tooth. Sadly i have no picture to show how was my tooth inside after the work of this lady dentist from the “Mydentist” clinic due to there was loads of bleeding from inside and tge dentist here had to use every single moment when the blood was stopped to bleeding out to work on this tooth and fixed it. To summerize: The dentist from “Mydentist” clinic nearly destroyed my tooth with unprofessional work and i almost lost this tooth plus i have got a damaged dental crown on the front tooth what i need to replace (and it cost a lot). So i will avoid that place in future. I don’t know how professional are other dentists from this clinic, but this one was worst. And i was on the way to sue the clinic and the dentist who worked on my tooth if i have lost this tooth due to incompetence. Luckily my tooth was saved.
I struggle to use the steep steps into the building but there are handrails. Not much use if you are a wheelchair user though.

The dental practice itself is very well organised over 3 floors. There is a room on the ground floor for those who are not good at using the stairs.

Staff very friendly and helpful. I’m not keen on going to the dentist (who is?) But the person I see is aware of my irrational fear and treats me accordingly.

You are informed of the cost before any work is done so there are no nasty surprises.

Only got 4 stars due to lack of disability access. Yes you can park a mobility scooter at the front of the building and chain it to a pillar, but that’s not really practical .

There is no room round the back in the car park to leave a mobility scooter ( I did ask). There is no separate disabled access.

If it wasn’t for my fear of changing dentists I would have moved long ago. But this dentist knows me and that’s very important to me.

So, I can recommend the dental practice BUT not the disability facilities.

I know it’s an old building but adaptions can be made!!!

Just had 2 fillings. No drill, no injection, fear factor lowered. Thank you much .

Can’t increase rating as disabled facilities still in the state. Even the toilet is up a flight of steep stairs!

Me and my partner had a joint appointment, his straight after mine. He has fairly bad anxiety with dentists due to bad childhood experiences with them, so he was nervous for his appointment. I asked to accompany him due to this, and let the dentists know beforehand of it. They were kind and accomodating the entire way through, the receptionist was lovely and helped relax and ease through the process, talking us through start to finish and providing a list of treatments needed and breakdowns of price. After 4 years of not having an appointment (and for him, 7+!) due to lockdown we were prepared for bad news, but it turns out our dental hygiene is better than what we feared! I was worried about going private as well, but the prices for the treatment are fair. When we left, my partner was in tears – he felt like he was respected, and being told his dental hygiene is fine and he’s doing a great job, in contrast to being berated as a child at other dentists, made him far less anxious for future appointments and extractions, lessening his dental anxiety and making him thankful for having gone. Thank you mydentist for providing him with the best experience he’s had, and giving him less anxiety and more incentive for future appointments. You have no idea how much it’s meant to us.
