Our dentist was on his own & merged with New Smile. Once we became patients with the merger – all of a sudden we had perio cleanings needed, root canals, and extra crowns. Had a filling done & it chipped a month later, then to get it fixed I had to pay again, when I wasn’t the one that did the service wrong in the first place.
Over price on ALL services. Not to mention they don’t tell you once they mark you as a perio you have to pay for cleanings that is provided FREE by insurance 2x a year. SUCKS as we were with our dentist over 20 years. With merge – his ethics were pushed to adapt to the way New Smile does business & now my WHOLE family is looking for dental services elsewhere.

I’m extremely disappointed with New Smile Dentistry of Altamonte Springs. They have repeatedly canceled my appointments, showing a complete lack of consideration for their patients’ time and health. Initially, they rescheduled my Saturday appointment for over a month, only to cancel it again a month later, citing the same excuse of the “doctor having an emergency.” This kind of unprofessional behavior is simply unacceptable. I’ve taken it upon myself to notify my insurance provider about their incompetence and lack of regard for their patients’ well-being.

I’ve been going to New Smile for several years. I have a bit of dental anxiety but the staff is friendly, competent and does a great job of putting me at ease. They can usually take appointments on short notice for problems, they do excellent work and I appreciate that, while they give me good advice and options about dental care I need, they have never tried to “upsell” me services I don’t need. Try them, you’ll like them!
