I’m a customer here for many years but after covid became a very useless dentist I ever met. Very poor customer service. I booked for emergency appointment for roots canal treatment because my gum swelling and get pus. Bad luck look like I got non experience dentist. She told me NHS will don’t do anything unless I’m in pain or referring the patients to the private for consult treatment plan so end up with sent me home with antibiotics and make another appointment for one and half months later. One day before my appointment due customer service rang to me to cancel my appointment. What on earth! I’m waiting to consult with a dentist for one and half month with suffers from the pus came out from my gum every day. So I need to make another emergency appointment again for the next day. Counter service very rude speak as worried I will not pay them and ask for money before I seen the dentist. Dentist saw my history and she told I need to pull my teeth out or refer to private dental clinics at Gosforth for roots canal treatment about PS700. So I asked for the pictures of my teeth x-ray previously so I can consult with another dentist by myself but she can’t find it. She will contact private dental and let me know. Another waiting and nothing happened. I feel like I get rob from this dental because every time I make appointment that’s cost me the money and time but they don’t do anything helpful at all. I will not recommend here unless you come here for pull your teeth out only.

LITERAL MALPRACTICE AVOID AVOID AVOID before I had NO PAIN now I’m IN PAIN the dentist told me my tooth was unsalvageable from the point I was on the phone to the receptionist (the exact same dentist) she sounded EVIL had 0 care for my health she was smashing the mirror around my teeth causing even more pain. She gave me two options to either remove the tooth or temporary fill. From this point my stomach started to churn and I knew I was in bad hands… I asked for the temporary filling she then started to clang the mirror across my front teeth. Then started pushing an instrument against the broken tooth that was meant to be filled. She then clearly snapped a piece of that tooth off and gave a shoddy temporary filling I literally have a shard sticking out my tooth that causes pain and discomfort LITERAL MALPRACTICE

Edit: two days later it’s 4:26 AM and here I am doubled over in pain when I didn’t have pain at first. I cannot sleep the pain is literally keeping me awake the shard in my mouth is so sharp and it’s cutting my gum causing bleeding.

Please stay away from this practice I wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone.

After ringing 121 times this morning to request an emergency appointment, I was met by what can only be described as pure contempt from a woman who’s customer service skills were nonexistent, to say she was rude is a major understatement!!!! She informed me I’d been taken off their books and was no longer a patient!!! And to ring NHS111 goodbye!!!! Wow!!!! I rang another practice who I’m not registered with, but they’ll see me today as an emergency!!! How lovely, and in contrast to the venomous treatment I’d had from Newbiggin!!!! If this is the way you treat you patients, then I can only conclude that you’ve done me a favour!!!! The milk of human kindness is obviously VERY SOUR!!!!!
