I have a phobia of going to the dentist, and this is the first place where I can relax. The dentists understand dental anxiety and know how to address it: either with homeopathy, understanding words, or giving the patient the time to adjust. I still get the odd anxiety attack when I go, even for a small filling or cleaning, but the dentists don’t make me feel embarrassed, because they are comfortable with it. This helps me to be comfortable with myself. They remind me that they are working for me, and that I can let them know at any time to stop. They also explain their procedures clearly, and gently, which is very helpful. One of the dentists admitted to me that she went into dentistry in the first place, because her own father was severely dental phobic! I am so grateful for this dental practice and the wonderful people who work here!

I had a good first experience at this dentistry, went in with my son for a check up, so we went back to get a cleaning for my him. My son has never had cavities or stains and a few weeks after, we started to see black stains between his front lower teeth after the cleaning. To give them the benefit of the doubt we went back for another cleaning a few days ago. Suffice it to say a thorough job was not done, went back there again to complain and i was told everything was perfect as is. I specifically complained about the black stains, and after the cleaning there was still some of the black stains left. To be told it doesn’t matter, is extremely upsetting.
P.s some of the front desk personnel are extremely rude.
I don’t appreciate being spoken to rudely or better still paying and not getting my money’s worth.

I am very grateful for the dental cleaning with Marietta and comprehensive consultation with Dr. Petconi-highly professional, kind and friendly approach. The 5th star is missing only because the f/u appointment for dental cleaning was overlooked by the very nice desk person- Melissa. She is yet to respond to my written request to book the next dental cleaning w Marietta. All in all it’s a pleasure to come to this dental office time and again (since I came to Canada and found them two decades ago)-they only have gotten better on most accounts.
