Having been a patient for over 30 years since childhood with this surgery, I decided that my young daughter should also go to them. Unfortunately the last experience I had with them was truly awful and traumatic for both my daughter and I. The dentist called Maria is allocated to see children, I have never met such an unfriendly, unhelpful and nasty person towards children, she did not greet us was in a foul mood, spent 20 seconds counting my daughters teeth before telling her to get off the seat and refused to answer any questions I had about her teeth. She was very rude and unpleasant so much so, that I decided not go ahead with my own dental check up right after my daughter as Maria is quite simply a nasty person with issues, perhaps she has personal issues that she brings to work but she really should not be allowed to deal with children as she is simply frightening. I told the receptionist what had happened but the practice manager, Mr Patel is the owner, was unavailable for to complain too. The receptionist took my details and emailed Mr Patel my complaint but he never bothered to even contact me, and I was told that he had bene busy on training courses for the past 2 weeks so he hadn’t had time to contact me, utter nonsense and absolute unprofessionalism. Such unacceptable and poor behaviour by the owner is no wonder why Maria has the same behaviour as the dentists at this practise don’t believe in customer care. I have since transferred myself and my daughter to a private dental practise that has a reputation for good patient service, snd would never recommend North Square Dental. I called NHS complaints to report them but realised it’s a waste of time, if the owner Mr Patel only cares about making money and can’t be bothered to handle complaints system when a patient raises on, what point is there staying with a dental surgery who are unprofessional and ungrateful for long standing patients. Maria may have thought she got away with her rude and unprofessional behaviour that scared my young daughter, and caused me upset, but the truth is what goes around comes around. Once day when Maria or her kids need help, she will get what she deserves as will Mr Patel, who is only interested in money money money, When you do bad, it comes back to you.I would not recommend this dental surgery and certainly not to anyone who has children., I would give 0 stars on this review like many other people who have given bad reviews here about North Square dental’s abysmal service but google unfortunately doesn’t give this option.

Avoid this dentist I went in for a Clean which is PS70 I left paying PS143 I got given fillings which I did not need once I questioned it the owner MR Patel said you do these people a favour, also I’m trying to be clever apparently just because I caught him out on unprofessionalism giving and charging for filling that are not needed. He even told a patient that he is going bust so this is the way he keeps making money, also when I went he was complaining that one nurse called in sick for Covid he was complaining that he had to pay he wages for the day
Disgusting picks and chooses who to make money off not an honest dentist staff are poor and if within your right you question it aggression and told they won’t see you anymore
Well that’s good as there plenty more good dentists out there that don’t over charge
You catch him in the act he does not like it dentist’s shouldn’t honest and only check and work on what you need
Going through feedback look how many 1 stars there are confirmed to me his ownership, staff and service is not just one off there’s soo many negative feedback
Avoid this dentist money orientated, aggressive and ruin people teeth take advantage of people

Both of our teenage daughters are treated at North Square Dental Practice. They are treated by the same orthodontist and his assistant each time, which gives us a comforting continuity and reassurance that they are being looked after by people who are closely following their progress. The children’s teeth have improved so much, it is a real pleasure to see how much better their teeth positions are now. Each month we return for a checkup and adjustments and have been very happy with the Covid safety in the practice: temperature checks, strict limits on the number of people in the building at the same time and plenty of space for those of us who are. The lovely lady in reception has been able to rearrange our appointments on a couple of occasions when things came up. We are very happy and would highly recommend.
