I cannot recommend Dr Shannon Novak at all. As a matter of fact, I won’t be back. I have dental anxiety and went to her in tremendous pain. She has anger issues for sure. The pain caused blood pressure issues and I was afraid of a stroke, so I called my insurance to ask what to do (insurance doesn’t usually like resolving medical issues with dental issues, but I had no choice). Apparently, my issue asked why there was an issue, calling in a prescription, when she refused to call the prescription in stock, because the original was back ordered. Just prior to my procedure, she held the anesthetic needle, looked at me, in my opinion with anger and threatened not to call my insurance (though they said I did the right thing). In my personal experience, when she got her way, she seemed “sweet”, but as soon as I stood up for myself… Let’s say Jeckyll/Hyde. I cannot recommend, especially if you have dental anxiety. The facility need not respond if you know who this is, because I will not respond, but will save voicemails so do not contact! -1 star for attitude. -2 stars for attempts to get my prescription filled. -1 star for anger contacting my insurance.

Please save yourself the time and money, do not proceed further with this place. We were seen at most for 3 minutes, we were never addressed or anything throughout the whole appointment. The provider walked out the room without saying anything to us. We were not even sure if the appointment was over because she didn’t answer any of our questions and simply left the room. On top of that, we were told from the beginning that the provider would be able to do the procedure needed and turns out it wasn’t true, it was just a cash grab. If giving 0 stars was possible, then this place would be fit for it.

Great office! Experienced, and caring staff..have never been a fan of going to the dentist. My teeth require a lot of extra love and they definitely receive it here (: Cleanings are thorough and dental work is done with precision. Scared to death, I went in to have my wisdom teeth pulled and it turned out to be a breeze. So happy to have found a great dental office that works as a team and doesn’t push to do work that is not necessary or needed.
