I just switched to Oakland when I had a bad experience with my previous dentist. Oakland Hill got me in right away when I explained I had a recent root canal and needed to get my permanent filling and crown. They were so kind from the beginning. Dr Shaheen was so kind and listened to my experience as well as provided great dental care. The office staff also took the time to review my dental benefits with me as my previous experience had used most of my benefits so it was going to be more expensive than I initially thought. Rather than just go ahead and let me be surprised by the bill, they reviewed all of this with me and presented a couple options so I could save money and not break the bank. I thought it was really cool that the front desk and the dentist were involved in this conversation so I got the expert with insurance and the expert with my teeth. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a dentist in the area!

Just went to Oakland Dental Care for the first time for a cleaning. Wow! What an amazing place!! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. My hygienist (Tracy) went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and took time to answer all my questions. She worked hard to thoroughly clean my teeth so I wouldn’t have to book a second appointment. I was the last appointment of the day and they didn’t make me feel rushed or an inconvenience, they truly were so professional and caring. The dentist himself was also very personable and professional. Also love that they have evening appointments and weekend hours. I’m switching my whole family to them!! Beyond happy I found them!!!

As a new patient, I must say that Oakland Dental Care really do “Care” not only about your teeth, but about you as a person. The staff is always very courteous and welcoming. Dr. Shaheen is very personable. It feels as though I’ve know him for quite some, which is very comforting.
