Had my first dental appointment with Dr. Davidson last evening, I was extremely impressed with how well I was treated and how I felt upon completion of my appointment.

I’ve seen a couple of dentists over the past few years all of whom I did not end up returning. Anxiety swept over me while walking into Ocean Park Dental; only because of the awful past experiences I have had with others; however, this changed. I was treated with such kindness and respect upon my entry by front staff and both Sheryl and Dr. Davidson both made me feel such relief during my visit. They are wonderful!

I gave them a rundown of my experience with previous dental visits, expressed my concerns and then proceeded to discuss the current issues with my teeth. They listened to every word I said without rushing me, judging me, or making me feel uneasy in any way.

While examining my teeth both Dr. Davidson and Sheryl continued to make me feel more at ease by taking the time to walk me through everything they were doing, why they were doing it and what they wanted to do going forward. (yes, I’m an adult chicken when it comes to dental)
They were gentile; ensuring not to cause me any discomfort while declaring how valued I was as a patient and how they never want to make anyone feel uneasy in any way. They pride themselves on their ability to put someone at ease because they understand the feelings and wellbeing of others. This was proven to be exactly accurate in my opinion.

After my exam we discussed my treatment plan. Dr. Davidson advised me of what he felt we could do to fix the issues with my teeth but not before ensuring my understanding of everything, the process that would be taken and I was ok with it all first. He also provided me with options to give me the opportunity to choose what I felt was best for me and took in my considerations as well.

At that moment, I knew right there, I finally found my dentist. I felt so relieved and confident that I choose the right place to get my smile again. I can’t express how grateful I am for what they have done to relief my anxiety and continue to do. I know that I’m in great hands with Dr. Davidson and his staff and I can’t thank them enough for making me feel so relaxed and giving me the confidence I need to proceed with my dental treatments.

I have been coming here ever since I was a toddler. I’ve had dental work done as a kid and Ocean Park dental has always been amazing for me and my family. The dentists I’ve had over the years were all amazing, the receptionists as well as the dental hygienists could not be any better, especially Cheryl and Heather who have been there for as long as I can remember. I am so happy that this was the dental office my parents chose and now that I’m an adult I’ll likely be going here for the rest of my life. They are amazing with children, I actually used to look forward to going to the dentist as a kid which is a weird thing to say but I did and I think this is because they made it a friendly experience and not a scary one. Even after getting my wisdom teeth pulled I still have nothing bad to day about them. Highly recommend this place for everyone, but especially for children.

I was referred to Ocean Park by a friend and I cannot overstate how awesome the experience was. I have a lifelong fear of the dentist, and my friend told me how friendly, kind, and non-judgemental they were. Owing to the pandemic (and a move before the pandemic, and my aforementioned phobia) I was WAY overdue for a trip to the dentist. They put all my fears to rest and the visit was honestly really pleasant (who gets to say that about the dentist?!?). If you have a fear of dentists, or have ever been shamed by a dentistry practice, these are the folks for you. An honest A+ for my visit to this awesome team.
