I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Longakit. She is skilled, kind, and her office is equipped with modern technology. What more could a patient ask for?! Here are more details:

Dr. Longakit agreed to extract three of my wisdom teeth. Not all general dentists are experienced or willing to perform wisdom teeth extractions, but she handled the procedure with expertise. Everything went smoothly on the day of the extraction. I experienced a slight amount of blood in my saliva for four to five days, but I have read online that this is normal after wisdom teeth extractions. Now, one week after the procedure, I feel pretty good.

Moreover, the cleaning she performed was far superior to the cleanings I had with my previous dentist. The new appearance of my teeth actually motivates me to better take better care of them.

Regarding the office, it is important for dental offices to have modern equipment, and Dr. Longakit’s office fulfills this criteria. For instance, after conducting some research, I discovered that digital x-rays emit 80% less radiation than analog ones, which is a significant improvement.

Speaking of dental office qualities, her office overlooks a beautiful scenery, creating a pleasant atmosphere for patients.

I booked my mother’s dentist appointment for her here. When I called, it went to voicemail -but they called me back fairly quickly. Super helpful over the phone. I was able to book for the same week. Dr. Longakit (who I believe was the one to call me back) made it very easy for me after I told her I was booking for my mom. Dr directed me to the forms on their website. So I was able to have them prefilled out, since I couldn’t go with to the appointment due to work. My mom is in her 60s, only speaks Spanish, and so I worry that she doesn’t get treated well or receives the best service sometimes. Especially when she goes alone. She called me after her appointment raving about how kind and respectful both the Dr and the staff were to her. I appreciate it so so much. Great first experience and we will definitely be coming back!

I do NOT recommend this dentist at all. Only went here because they accept Medi-Cal. Receptionist was exceptionally rude and did not greet me on the way in or out. I had a cleaning done, which was extremely painful and messy. She was very rough on my teeth, I got water splashed all over my face and down my neck. My chair was way too far back, making me feel like I was going to slide off head first. The x-rays were extensive and not even looked at properly after the fact. I am still in pain just from the cleaning and it’s been three days. The last thing she told me was to please come back even if I change my insurance. Clearly they are desperate for money and business.
