Absolutely horrid. I came in for excruciating tooth pain due to an infected tooth and he refuses to give any pain medication. They told me “unfortunately you are just going to have to deal with it for a few days.” So miss work due to tooth pain which can easily be avoided by actually having some empathy? I have zero history of drug abuse and haven’t been prescribed pain medication in 3+ years but when you actually do need it, they treat you like a drug addict and tell you to deal with it. Find a dentist who cares about their patients, skip this one because Dr. Olsen clearly doesn’t care about his patients pain nor their livelihood and ability to work. I could lose my job over not being able to work due to tooth pain.

They took x rays and clearly found extreme inflammation, prescribed me antibiotic mouthwash/antibiotics, irrigated my tooth/gums, and said I’m probably going to lose the tooth… but pain? Too bad. Just be completely immobile and unable to think or function for several days and hope that it goes away. I will never return to this dentist as they refuse to help you in your moment of dire need. This pain is unbearable and they simply don’t care at all. I’m not sure of they are just discriminating on me for some personal reasons and they actually help other people, but I wouldn’t chance it. You’re better off going to the ER than to this place if pain is an issue.

We love Olsen Family Dental! For several years we planned our trips from Arizona to Utah for dental check ups because we knew we could trust Dr. Olsen. We moved to Salt Lake City two years ago and continue drive to Bouniful for dental care. Dr. Olsen is a great dentist for the entire family. The kids really look forward to their visits. We have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Olsen and his staff! Thet have,been great for our whole family. Dr. Olsen always answers our questions and concerns. Our dental hygienist was phenomenal today. She went above and beyond to help my young daughter feel comfortable at the dentist. I would definitely recommend Olsen Family Dental to anyone.
