Dr. Dains is awesome. He is not only super knowledgable but also so honest in his work and he knows how to really make you feel comfortable when it comes to a procedure being done or even the price of something that needs to be done. He doesn’t try to sell you on everything and anything, he will let you know what is necessary for good dental health and what you can get away without. He is also helpful at advising alternatives to things if certain dental work is not in your budget. When I had an emergency after hours he was quick to not only answer my calls but also continuously followed up to check in on me. Great guy, great team of professionals, great atmosphere. I have recommended a few friends to Dr. Dains over the years all who would agree that they are happy they switched over to him.

I went to Doctor Dains for regular cleanings/check-ups, but soon added other services. I always struggled with sleep issues/snoring and tried many different methods to help, but I wanted to avoid getting a sleep apnea machine. Dr. Dains fit me for a night guard that greatly helped keep my airway open at night. He was also able to perform a frenectomy with a laser that was quick and easy with minimal recovery time. Using both methods I have completely stopped snoring and couldn’t be happier. I continue to see Dr. Dains for my regular check ups–he is personable, knowledgeable, and explains everything as he goes. I’m happy to have found a great dentist in the San Diego area!

Dr. Dains is amazing! He has a calming presence and always takes extra time to explain things and provide tips on how to better take care of your teeth.
