I started service at the end of the year. First visit to get x-rays took nearly four hours. Then I had some extractions and fillings. That was another 6 hours. The dentist was really nice, and said she was giving me a Christmas gift for waiting so long. She filled in a chip in my front tooth. I tried to go back to finish the extractions that had not yet been taken care of and was told that there was a problem with insurance. After a couple months of waiting was told that there was a balance that would need to be paid before I could continue. The office staff got argumentative when I was asking questions trying to figure out what happened. I had pre-paid for the remaining extractions and then I paid the balance. This totalled to 366 dollars. I never got a straight answer from them. I finally figured out what happened when I looked at the claims on the insurance website. Turns out they submitted the filling of the chipped tooth, which was not covered buy insurance as it was cosmetic. I didn’t not ask for this procedure to be done as I did not care about it. I have had it filled in the past and it always comes out after a while. So now I am put $366 for a procedure I did not want or ask for that I was told was a gift for sitting in the chair for over 6 hours before Christmas. This is totally unethical. Like I said, the dentist was really nice, but to be billed for something I did not ask for and was told was a gift. Then to have the office staff not tell me that I was billed for it and get argumentative trying to find out what happened to cause me to have a balance when I had pre-paid for service. I would stay fat away as possible from this place

I can’t say enough great things about my visit to Dr. Attar’s office! From the moment I stepped through the door, I was absolutely floored by the level of care and attention to detail. The office was immaculate, setting a high standard that many other places should strive to meet. But it wasn’t just the cleanliness that stood out–Dr. Attar and his team were hands down the friendliest and most welcoming staff I’ve ever encountered.

In fact, I’m actually excited about going back, and trust me, I’m not someone who typically enjoys dental appointments.

I am genuinely looking forward to my next visit because Dr. Attar and his team!! They have redefined what it means to provide superior dental care. They’ve turned a routine dental visit into something I now eagerly anticipate, which is no small feat! Bravo to Dr. Attar and his phenomenal team. They’ve set a new standard for excellence, and I’m thrilled to have found such a top-notch practice!

First I need to say I am on older guy that has never left a review for any business in my life. Just the fact that I am taking the time to do so for the first time should speak volumes.
I moved to Florida 5 years ago and it has been an adventure finding a competent honest dentist. I am someone who has religious gone to the dentist 3 times a year for the past 20 years keeping up with the hygiene.
Imagine my surprise as the first dentist I saw told me I needed 5 crowns. What!!! Impossible. I got right out of there and never went back.
Let’s try dentist number 2. Well not 5 crowns but 2. I had them fill the teeth they recommended. However when I went for my first crown it dawned on me there was no consistency if care. I actually had a different dentist each time I went in. My inner voice told me this isn’t right if the office can’t retain dentists so I walked out in the appointment without getting the crowns.

Hmmm back to the drawing board. I can actually say the 3rd time was the charm when looking for a dentist. My first appointment went amazing. Best of all no crowns needed. A couple fillings and a deep cleaning and I will be done.
It is refreshing to actually find an honest dentist that doesn’t want to fill your mouth with expensive crowns. The deep cleaning was painless and I requested it done without numbing.
That bad nagging feeling I had has now been replaced with a warm fuzzy feeling. After 3 tries I have finally found a dentist.
Ormond family dental has now gotten a patient for Life
