After using this dentist for over twenty years without any problems, I’m afraid I will not be going there again after the treatment or lack of it I received last week. I was thirty minutes late being seen, which was not a problem but I was then treated appallingly by the dentist I was seen by. She hardly looked in my mouth but still manage to tear my lips in the corner of my mouth which I am still suffering with. She also stabbed me in several places in my mouth to check my gums which I totally understand but the way this was done appeared to be meant to hurt me. I was there for about three minutes and told to just go and make an appointment and pay to see the hygienist because a check up no longer covers a scrape and polish. However, I thank god this woman didn’t do any further work because as I said earlier I still can’t eat properly after the way she manhandled me last week. It is a shame I have had to write this review because I know the two previous owners still work there (Jenny and Simon) and they were always very good.

I have been attending this practice for the last 38 years and have to travel 50miles for the round trip – that should show the regard that I have for the dental services that they provide, I cannot see any better practice. Today, 8/07/24 was business as usual except that reception went an extra mile to help sort out a dental care plan. They deserve one big star not 5 little ones!

Excellent service from start to finish , lovely welcome when you arrive and when you have treatment always explained and made to feel at ease, I’ve been at this practice for over 20 years , no issues and even when I’ve had root canal or tooth out always make sure your OK and explained before and after your treatment.
