Reviews:
I had booked an appointment to get my teeth cleaned at their clinic over the holidays, because i also had appointments for my children. I told them i had insurance and went inside. While i was in the room they started doing things i never asked for and telling me that they are needed. I told them i only need a teeth cleaning. They ended up doing xrays for three sides and a panoramic xray. I thought they did this normally and took no attention to the xrays. When i was waiting for my kids to finish, i told them my insurance info from my college and they told me it was declined. I called the insurance and the insurance told me that i had to wait until the college opened so they can figure out the problem. The clinic told me to pay and figure it out later. I asked how much and they told me the bill was around $500 but they were going to fix it because i am paying out of pocket. I asked what the $500 was for and they told me for all the things they did for me. I told them i only asked to clean my teeth and didn’t ask for anything else. They answered that i gave consent. I told them that i did not and why would i give consent for something i didn’t need. I told them that they told me they need to do them and i thought it was a part of their procedure. In the end i payed $260 out of pocket when i just wanted a cleaning that should have cost me a max of $100. I ended up fixing the problem with my insurance, but due to it being before the new years i was not covered. In the end i noticed they do procedures and things u don’t need just to up the payment from the insurance and i got duped by them and payed extra out of pocket because of a glitch in my insurance and their scam of a procedure. There should be people that look into this. How they pile unwanted procedures just to make money off the insurance or dupe the unsuspecting customer. Long story short, i cancelled my kids next appointment and won’t be going back any time. Watch out before going to this facility. Not honest
My first time at Parkway, I booked and went to the wrong office, as they had two locations close by, with similar names, based on the plaza they were in. They were super friendly, the receptionist, called the other office to let them know am on my way. Dr. MacLean was very gentle, I didn’t feel a thing when she extracted my tooth. She wasn’t money hungry like the other dentist I went to, which was more interested in how much unnecessary things he could do with my dental plan. Dr. McLean made sure she asked what brought me there and what I wanted done. Then she did her exam and let me know what other issues I had to take care of when am ready. I will most definately come back for future work, and recommended others here.
These people are cheats and scamed me by doing procedure i did not need just to charge the insurance companies and the only reason i cought them was because there was a problem with my insurance that had me paying for the dentist in order to claim the money later. I had gone in for a cleaning and they piled procedures just to mark up the charges. And in the end they fixed the receipt when i told them it was too high and that i only came in for a cleaning. They ended up fixing the charges by close to half and gave me a receipt saying a Dr. Jeffrey Chau, D.D.S did my procedures when in fact a lady did my cleaning and i did not see the doctor once. I don’t recommend this place at all, scammers
