I had initially called to inquire about a cleaning and in house whitening services and was scheduled for the very next day.
When I arrived at the office the receptionist indicated that during my cleaning the hygienist would have a look at my teeth and if there were any concerns I would see the dentist before my whitening procedure.
After my cleaning (no concerns requiring the dentist) I asked if I was to wait in the same chair or go to a different room for the whitening. The hygienist seemed confused and said she would check with the front desk person. I was shocked to find out that they were unable to complete the service apparently no one was available. I asked what changed from the time I arrived to my appointment and I was told by the receptionist that I was never booked for whitening, I needed to make an appointment to come back.
The lack of communication, organization and professionalism was very disappointing. I had specifically asked for both services when I made the appointment and at no time was told I would have to make two appointments, nor was I scheduled for two appointments at the time I called. I had set aside time in my schedule and made arrangements to attend the appointment only to be let down by their lack of professionalism. When I asked to speak to the person in charge, the receptionist snarkingly said “that’s me”. When I asked to speak to the dentist she came out and said she was an associate and wasn’t able to assist to have the service completed. I was then told I was unable to reach the owner by phone but given an email address for the general information mailbox that is monitored by the owner’s husband who is also the office manager. After I left the office I sent an email of my concerns and reached out for my issues to be addressed. That was 3weeks ago and I have not received a response or any kind of follow up from them.
I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for quality care or attentive service. It is clear this office is unorganized, lacks accountability and does not prioritize patient care or satisfaction.

The hygienists here are really friendly, kind and accommodating. But I had the most bizarre experience here with the owner of this clinic who deliberately injected me sadistically. She repeatedly and unnecessarily dug the needle around in the injection site multiple times. I wish I were exaggerating. I have never had an issue going to the dentist before, or with pain and I’ve been to several dentists my entire life. My jaw was bruised and swollen for an entire 2 weeks for something routine that shouldn’t have hurt past 2 hours or 2 days at the absolute most. The hygienist was shocked and confused said she “didn’t know why she did that” and even apologized for it immediately after. The owner gave me a mean girl vibe. Sadly, there is no doubt in my mind it was deliberate and truthfully she should consider herself lucky I didn’t seek legal counsel as it genuinely was a traumatic experience. Do NOT go here.

From the moment you step into Pickfair Family Dental Office, it feels like stepping into the comfort of your own home. The reception staff warmly welcomed both my wife and me, treating us with great respect. Dr. Renata Babic introduced herself before conducting our examinations, thoroughly explaining the entire anatomy of the mouth. She also laid out few options for me based on my Dental health. After the exam, I was escorted to another area where a dental hygienist, Mary, took over. Mary was delightful, engaging me in conversation to distract from the cleaning process. She did a fantastic job on my teeth–they haven’t looked this clean since I was a child! I highly recommend this office to anyone searching for a new dental home. I’ll definitely be recommending them to my friends and family in the area.
