Reviews:
Dr Smyth and her assistants were great. Was in pain and they made it better. Through the process I found it was crazy high priced no one could ever explained to me line by line what I was paying for. I paid it and washed my hands of them. It’s been over a year now and I left 7 requests to speak with someone about my bill. Not one returned phone call with explanation. Would not recommend nor ever go back. The one thing that should have been easy seemed sketchy. And the guy that was running the office was apparently fired. Maybe he was the problem. But all in all no one seemed to be able to answer questions and the business office never called me.
I feel like I am constantly being misled by Platinum Dental. Last time I was told I needed to have 2 cavities filled, so I had to sign a document about how much I would pay, only to show up to the next appointment and be told fillings were not scheduled. It seems its always hard to get ‘straight answers’ or straight talk from this corporation. I used to be able to go to this dentist and be treated as being important. Now, with this corporation, I feel like I am simply a bother and an afterthought!
Ashamed of many years of oral negligence I finally talked myself into going to a dentist. I entered the office on the periphery of an anxiety attack, and left with half a smile. The other half of my mouth was still numb. Dare I say that I’m excited to go back.
Dr. Kobe was so kind, answered my questions, and made sure I was comfortable.
Thank you Dr. Kobe, Carsten, Cheyenne, and all who helped me today. I’m so grateful for professionals like you all.
