Reviews:
I felt taken advantage of because I’m poor. He took x-rays and before he could look stated he couldn’t do the work and referred me somewhere else. He had worked on my teeth he was aware of the problems. Which I started very clearly when making the appointment. He’s a professional, he had a very good idea, if not knew exactly what was going on. I was very specific staying I had a filling fall out, and possible cracked tooth, also broken veneer and tooth. I’m a life long smoker which was stated, so he referred me to a periodontist ,which will do me little if no good. It is what it is. But for him, he had a ” new” hygienist take x rays who didn’t know how to operate the machine, another came in a showed her how to press the buttons, less than two minutes after the X-rays were done, Dr came in stated he couldn’t do the work and the referral. I have state funded insurance. So in turn, he bills and is guaranteed the money, paid by our taxes, and I wasted a visit to the office. I wonder how many other patients this has happened to. I contacted my insurance company, a nurse for them was very apologetic, and was sorry about the experience, she was appalled. I contacted social services of Virginia, the woman’s mouth just dropped. They encouraged me to make a complaint, worried that it might be a pattern. I felt like this is what is wrong with our system. Due to my financial position, the doctor bills knowing her gets paid, does nothing to help me, passes me along to who knows who, a Woodbridge doctor, not even someone in Fredericksburg where I am. I asked if there was someone closer, they said that’s who they do their referrals to, they also did not answer or call back today, I called at noon. Meanwhile the rich doctor gets richer, with a guaranteed payment from the state and taxpayers, while I’m in a tough spot because I work with the public and my teeth have become unacceptable, so here I go, continuing to fight my way out of living in my car barely hanging on to work. Leaving the office I had never felt that humiliated and taken advantage of. This is our system, the government, the taxes, in action. This is what’s wrong with us. Thank you for listening. Peace. Here for days later, the office calls everyday multiple times while I’m at work and can’t be one my phone, the periodontist in Woodbridge who I was referred to doesn’t except my insurance only the Fairfax office, I haven’t had enough time to find another dentist or periodontist in my area through my insurance, truth is I haven’t had enough time during business hours to be on the phone, the phone calls from them everyday is just insult to injury, I guess the cracked tooth, fallen filling, I don’t even know cause no one liked at it, yeah we’ll later now, and I don’t have another appointment, I don’t even know if I can get another day off right now… Worried about your reviews, …man. . I wish. Lol. I hope you don’t have a pool. ;( just don’t smile, wrong, smile, just didn’t show teeth. Good day kind sirs.
As a new patient coming for the first time my experience was very pleasant. The office was clean, organized and the front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. After checking in the wait time was not long before Dental Hygienist, Jamie came to get me. Jamie was fantastic with getting me set up with x-rays and my cleaning went great. Dr Yousaf was awesome he came in afterwards and introduced himself and examined my teeth, he’s such a nice person, so professional. I am really happy to have found a dentist office that’s close to my house rather than me having to travel to Alexandria where I’ve been going for many years.
Thank you Precision Smile Dentistry!
I finally decided to get off my butt and start going to the dentist again after 10 years of never going. The staff was so friendly and nonjudgmental. Thankfully, I didn’t have any cavities or anything major and they told me I must have been taking really good care of my teeth all these years. Even still I’ve continued to go back every 6 months because I want to keep my teeth healthy. I’ve been there 3 times so far and they are phenomenal every time! Very fast, efficient, friendly, and professional. Highly recommend!
