I would give zero stars if i could! I have had my wisdom teeth extraction scheduled twice, both times i took a whole week off of work. The first time they called me the morning of and told me my insurance was inactive, which it was I just didn’t realize. No big deal, it wasn’t really their fault. Although they could have checked it sooner then 2 hours before i was supposed to be there. I got my insurance figured out and called a few weeks later with new insurance cards to reschedule the extraction. I told them i have new insurance and gave them the information. We scheduled the appointment and that was that. Today is the day of my extraction, i got a call at 8:20am saying my insurance was not good. I explained to Kelly that she was running my old insurance and gave her the new insurance again. She called my insurance company to verify and then called me back to tell me that i needed $996 for the portion of the procedure and that it would be due today before my appointment. I asked her why was i not told this weeks ago when the appointment was scheduled? She argued with me and told me it was my responsibility to update my insurance and when i told her i had already done that she claimed to know nothing about it and said she was new to the company. I will absolutely NEVER go back to this company, and would strongly recommend you stay away. Even if you show up 10 or 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment, you will still be waiting 30 to 45 minuted to be seen! This company is a joke!
Stay away from. I had a good visit got my teeth cleaned and xrays which my insurance covers. When i was done I gave the lady at the front desk my insurance card she said she had to call them but they were closed so she would call the next day. I received a bill When i called the lady was nice I gave her my insurance information once again and ended the call. a couple months later I get a collection notice in the mail from q dental. I called about 5 times and left a message on the machine all five times with my name number and insurance information. I got another collection notice from q dental when I called I got a hold of cathy. She was not nice at all trying to blame me for this. She told me that they dont have my insurance on file and my bill is in collections and i have to call the collection agency. “you must have gotten bills from us” when i told her i left 5 messages she told me they dont have a machine. When I call it says you do. she then got upset and eplained to me its not her promblem I need to call the collection company. Long story short stay away from Qdental. Next time i will look at all the reviews.
Every other review about this place is 100% accurate. The hygenists and dentists are great. The check in and front end secretaries are notrotious. Mean women that seriously make it known that they hate their jobs and clearly do not want to be there. I went in for an extraction which took me 30 days to be accomodated. And then when the dentist could not help me but only refer me to an oral surgeous. There was NO SENSE of urgency especially since I was in incredible pain. They would not work around my work schedule or take any sense of priority for me. There should be a basic sense of customer service 101 amongst these women. Especially since I was overly pleasant and nice to them. Miserable Staff.
