Was planning for my daughter to start going to this office all based on the website (and reviews). As life goes, my daughter needed emergent dental care for a tooth that required a root canal. I didn’t call the emergency line for Restore because I wasn’t sure if she’d see my daughter if we weren’t already established. Took her to an “urgent dental” facility. She had an infection and they moved to perform a root canal. I’m not in dental healthcare but I am a nurse and I saw some concerning steps in the procedure.

Cut to three days later and my daughter is still in severe pain and now has a obvious abcess on her gum near the tooth. We were able to get in to see Dr. Johnna. Dr. Johnna and her staff were amazing. She talked through what she was doing, ensured my daughter had very good pain control, encouraged calming and distraction techniques through the treatment. My daughter has had several bad experiences at dentist offices and was/is super anxious. She said when we left, that this was the best dental visit she’s experienced (despite having an infection and abcess that needed to be lanced.)

Dr. Johnna was compassionate, thoughtful and thorough. She prescribed what my daughter needed to clear the infection and wants to see her again in a couple of days. I believe that she had my daughter’s best interest at heart and cares about the outcome. I am so truly grateful that I found the website for Restore Dental and Dr. Johnna (and her staff). We will be back (even myself and my husband) and would absolutely recommend this office especially for someone who might need compassion with their dental care! (Shouldn’t they all be compassionate?)

I went to see Dr. Johna Thomas after 10 years of neglect and in 4 virtually painless visits she has my smile reconstructed beautifully. She saved my teeth. I got 3 crowns and several fillings and my smile looks perfect. My mouth feels healthy and I am so grateful for her professionalism and artistry-because what she did to my teeth was art. I am so happy and she is the nicest person as well as one of the best in her profession. I highly recommend her and this office for anything you need to have done. I myself was quite embarrassed of the condition of my teeth but she made me feel comfortable and unashamed. She also took on the task of restoring my dental heath as if it were no monumental task-and it was. She and her office staff are the best. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Her husband is pretty great too, he is my Periodontist and together they are a fantastic team.

I’m 100% impressed with the team of professionals at Restore Dental. From my first call to schedule an appointment to the services I received. Everyone in the office calls you by name, they actually know “you”. Dr. Johnna is a wonderful lady who takes time to talk with you and her team is equally responsive & sensitive to each patient. I’m so happy I found them! Highly recommend calling them if you’re looking for a new dentist or a dental team that cares and always strives to do the best & the right thing for their patients.
