Reviews:
My experience at the Richmond Dental Building was extremely disappointing. I initially called to inquire about having my wisdom tooth pulled, and was assured that they could handle it, with a referral to Highland Hospital as a backup option. However, upon arrival, the front desk receptionist was rude and in a bad mood. The x-ray technician, on the other hand, was friendly and professional.
After the x-ray, I was asked to wait for the doctor. He examined my x-ray and informed me that he couldn’t perform the extraction but could refer me to Highland Hospital. He then suggested a deep cleaning, which my insurance would cover for free. Curiously, another dentist quickly performed the deep cleaning in less than 5 minutes, whereas similar procedures at other clinics usually take much longer.
Following the cleaning, I was asked to wait outside. After waiting for 45 minutes, I approached the front desk to inquire about the delay. To my surprise, I was told I could leave without receiving the referral and antibiotics that the doctors had mentioned earlier. When I expressed my confusion, the front desk staff claimed that they don’t provide referrals to Highland Hospital.
I asked to speak with the doctor, who brought me inside to discuss the situation. He seemed dismissive and questioned my feelings, ultimately telling me not to return to the clinic. It left me feeling as though they had encouraged me to make an appointment solely to charge my insurance for unnecessary procedures.
I highly advise anyone considering this dental clinic, Richmond Dental Building, to think twice before making an appointment. My experience felt like a scam, and it’s clear that they prioritize profit over patient care.
