Leigh (Dr tanner) and her hygienist Lynn are the best dental providers I’ve ever been to! It’s really the only time I haven’t dreaded going to the dentist. They are both very skilled and they explain what you have going on so it makes sense. Plus they have actually good music to listen to! Oh and a dental office that actually runs on time!?– that is worth noting! We keep driving back to go see them even after we moved away from Asheville because I don’t want to change dentists after finding such an amazing office. Everyone who works there is competent and nice– the front desk folks, the hygienist assistant Lizzy… and David does a great job with the insurance stuff because the paperwork is always worked out so it is approved and paid for even though they aren’t technically in network anymore it seems to go fine! I recommend to all my friends and family.

My family has been with Dr. Tanner at River Arts Dentistry for nearly a decade and we’re very happy with our treatment and care. She is knowledgeable and always gives reliable advice we can trust. Her dental assistant, Lynne, is so kind and gentle, she makes every visit stress-free. David is always cheerful and incredibly helpful with billing and insurance questions.

The office is bright, modern, and welcoming. The music playlists are always on point. It’s rare to find a dental practice where we feel so comfortable. We’ve referred all our family, friends, and coworkers because this group is exceptional. Such good, caring, and thoughtful people. My hygienist Lynne is very gentle and communicative, and genuinely puts me at ease every visit. She is also very knowledgeable and her expertise is clear. Dr. Tanner is super present with you and does incredible work. I have the utmost trust in the whole (small but highly professional) team. There’s no rushing as they do their jobs. They also do a great job of preparing you for the costs of visits, x-rays, and any extra work so that there are no surprises and no pressure. I can’t imagine a better experience at the dentist 🙂
