If I could rate this joke of place 0 stars I would. I took my son here to get a tooth pulled due to a bad cavity, in which I had to wait months for an appointment and it was over an hour drive for us. When we got there he was taken back by himself and after a few minutes the dentist came out and informed me that my son didn’t want to get his tooth pulled anymore and they were not going to proceed. I’ve never been to a place where it was up to the 9 year old child whether or not they needed a procedure done or not. Fast forward a month later and now my son’s face is swollen with that same tooth that now has a bad infection since it was not pulled. At the time they told me to call if it did get an infection and they would prescribe him an antibiotic. I did just that and low and behold now they tell me they don’t think he has an infection and to just give him Tylenol. So pretty much, thanks for absolutely nothing except more problems.

I think it’s appalling that they will give away your scheduled appointment to someone else if you don’t confirm via text message by a certain time. I was at work where I can’t answer my phone. This is denying medical care. Just because others don’t show up to appointments doesn’t mean they get to place that blame on others. This isn’t a tattoo, hair,or nail appointment. This is a medical appointment. This has happened to me multiple times and every time they tell me it won’t happen again. Yet here we are. I confirmed when I could get to my phone. I scheduled the appointment well in advance. My medical care was still denied. I called early enough for them to call the person they gave my appointment to and cancel them, they refused. Even if it’s policy. I never signed an agreement to said policy. They need to do better and realize that giving away someone’s access to medical care will never be ethical.

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a better gynecology office. I was scheduled at the one in Lock Haven. Every single person I spoke to on the phone was very professional and friendly. They return calls quickly. The medical assistant took me back to the room right on time. The appointment wasn’t rushed. The nurse practitioner I saw (Heather) was very thorough and had an excellent bedside manner. It’s taken me a few years to find high quality care, but it’s here.
