If I could leave no stars I would… as a new patient I had to reschedule three times before they verified my insurance. (RED FLAG!)
which I got multiple calls especially on the day of my appointment they needed to verify my insurance AGAIN. Place has poor communication skills and also the dentist said my teeth look great no cavities but some inflammation so he suggested a deep clean… I’m like okay.. but how much is that going to be. The girl comes back saying how the deep clean package is 950$ and my insurance only covers 200$ (mind you my teeth looked great and I could use some flossing no pain no issues just some inflammation) then they proceed to tell me it’s either I pay for the deep clean or I get no cleaning. I even called back after I left to talk with the receptionist and she told me the same thing how my insurance won’t cover the regular cleaning because the dentist recommended the deep cleaning. Which is a total lie as someone who used to work in a dental office handling claims.
As my insurance is paying them for a preventative appointment I don’t get no alternative treatment only the 950$ one and basically said okay thank you have a good day.
Riverwalk dental is all about PATIENT NEGLECT and INSURANCE ABUSE. This place is absolutely only in it for the money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR INSURANCE ON THIS PLACE!

Awful experience, awful incapable people. Their paperwork is invasive and personal because they want to convince you to bring every single family member you have in. They can’t figure out how to get a group number or member ID. They’re more concerned with trying to get you to pay for everything out of pocket. The mistreated my husband and my son. Billed my son’s insurance for medication they never used! Had my husband calling his insurance to get info because they couldn’t seem to figure it out themselves, yet my husband’s face was swollen and he could barely talk. They’re greedy, thieving awful awful awful people. Please DO NOT subject your family to this place! Definitely don’t answer their invasive questions about all of your family members and whether you have to pay court ordered child support…we don’t, but what does that have to do with dental work and dental insurance? As soon as one family member goes in they harass you to no end on bringing everyone you know to them. Just avoid this place.

NO STARS!!!!! dental hygienist was extremely rough . So rough that she pushed so hard she made her instrument slip and exposed the jaw bone while also cracking it . Now pieces of jaw bone are embedded into my mouth and feel like sores that my body has to reject and start pushing out. Not only have I been in pain for over 2 months but they continue to take money out for services they failed to complete !! Every time I call I get the run around . The office manager is no help she acts like she cares and then when she hangs that phone up she doesn’t do anything about the problem . DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! IF YOU LOVE YOUR TEETH GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !
