Reviews:
I don’t think this can be classified as a safe space for someone to operate dental surgeries. The structure of this place is precarious. Huge brown humidity stains on the ceiling as you’re sitting on a chair covered in cling film. The smell around the surgery is a mix between humidity and fresh paint, used to cover stains in a very rough way. A paint bucket was actually used as a door holder. All the machinery and tools are very old, featuring parts held together with tape and even a broken little mirror (one of those round ones that dentist use to inspect your teeth). The dentist didn’t greet me at all, she just walked past me and went straight in the room, then turned back and asked me to go and sit there. So I did. She listened to my problem and did a quick inspection and then X-rays. She couldn’t place the x-ray sheet at the back of my mouth and she complained and also instructed me that I would do it myself. A young guy was there, but he wasn’t an assistant. The dentist was taking notes herself each time she was inspecting a tooth. Only at the end, when I told her that I would have rather gone for a root canal if necessary, she tells me that she does not specialise in root canal and when she did do it, 50% of the cases had negative consequences. I thought this was a joke… But she did really say that. They don’t have rotatory tools there, so all they do is done by using static tools. Clearly I wasn’t gonna let her touch my mouth any further, so I’ve asked to pay as I was ready to leave. She takes me to her “office” area around the corner, the card reader doesn’t work. So I had to go out and get cash and come back to her. Finally she advised me to go and see another dentist. I don’t have anything against these people but paying for NHS services shouldn’t mean accepting these poor hygiene and safety conditions. That’s just unacceptable. This surgery should definitely be inspected. I’m pretty sure they won’t pass any standard check. Please do not go to this surgery. Thank you.
If you want to smile confidently, whatever you do AVOID this practice. Poor communication, crowns that don’t look like crowns and uses the bare minimal material to attend to your needs. This practice is definitely dodgy, completes the work and expects you to pay cash…….I wonder why? I will have to find another dentist because under any circumstances will I use this poor reputable establishment as long as I live. Good riddance to bad rubbish!!!
Avoid this place. Not sure if the dentist holds appropriate qualification, she checks your teeth whilst speaking on her mobile with her family. Does fillings on impacted teeth with no root canal.
