Warning! Check your insurance claims with this office. They take a procedure of charging patients upfront for an estimated cost of the procedure instead of the actual cost of what the insurance and they DO NOT Volunteer to tell you that there is a difference in cost or offer to give you your money back as they should once they’ve overcharged someone for a procedure. Instead you have to call your insurance To see how much you were actually supposed to pay and then check to see the difference.
As if this is not inconveniencing enough, once they’ve acknowledged that they owe you a refund it is very difficult to get it back. Once I received a refund check, it was shorted $48 of what they owed me in the overcharge price.
Not sure if this is procedure given by the doctor or procedure by the front desk but either way it should never take This long to get money back for something they were overcharged for in the first place. It also seems very sketch That they do not inform you of the price difference once the insurance estimate comes back.

The administrative ladies that work the front desk are not helpful at all. In fact, they are rude to everyone who calls on your behalf, including your insurance company, and or other doctors that call them for records. It’s embarrassing and very unprofessional.

This review only explains one bad situation. I have experienced here, so I am sorry to say I can’t recommend it.

I want to tell you what happened to me today when I went to my appointment for a dental cleaning, which had been scheduled for approximately a month and today they called me an hour before to tell me that my appointment had been changed to 12:50pm. I having scheduled my entire work week to be able to attend the appointment. when the girl at the reception named May arrived. She tells me that I should reschedule my appointment for another day because my appointment was at 12:50 pm. with an arrogant manner and terrible customer service. I told them I couldn’t change the appointment because I work and it’s difficult to schedule a new appointment. She with an attitude of I don’t care, I don’t look for solutions. Truly, the customer service was the worst. I do not recommend the place at all, unless you want to be treated badly, regardless of whether you are paying for a service.

I recently visited Gittelman for a routine teeth cleaning, and I am thrilled with the experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. The hygienist was thorough yet gentle, ensuring I was comfortable throughout the entire process. They explained each step, which made me feel at ease and well-informed about my dental health.

The clinic itself was spotless and equipped with the latest technology, making the procedure efficient and effective. I highly recommend Dr. Gittelman for anyone seeking top-notch dental care.
