Reviews:
I would not recommend Dr Roberts if you have sensitive teeth, or are in need of major restorations.
I chose Dr Jan Roberts based on Google generic reviews and her robust portfolio of photos of people’s teeth.
The enamel on my teeth with age has worn off to the limits requiring a full dental restoration.
What a disaster I stumbled upon dealing with Dr Jan; I have never had so much dental pain caused by a dentist. The temporary crowns were not sealed properly; brushing and mouth washing liquid caused an excruciating pain. Called the office while waiting for permanent crowns, had to ask for an extra appointment to have the gaps sealed. Hence, I decided to limit the amount of restoration to the already abraded 5 molars, to find out how the actual crowns felt.
When I came back to get my permanent crowns on, my concern regarding absence of glazing on the crowns was dismissed, the concern that the crowns were shorter than the projected size was ignored. In fact, Dr Roberts insisted that the crowns should be inverted right away “to end my misery”. Prior to cementing new crowns on she generously slathered an etching acid on, which caused a chemical burn to my teeth, gums and the back of my mouth. When anesthesia wore out my teeth were burning with pain. I could not use the “restored ” teeth for the next few months at all, because of the debilitating pain from any pressure, or anything hot or cold. Even water at room temperature is causing pain. As a solution to my complaints Dr Roberts suggested to see an endodontist, which meant I had to come up with an extra $7000 for the specialist to drill holes in the new crowns big enough to extract healthy pulp and nerves from the molars she worked on. What kind of restoration is that?
Since I have moved the rest of the restoration work to a different dental office I am relieved to realize that my teeth are not to blame. Fact: I had absolutely no pain on the other side of the arch for a full duration of the process performed by a DIFFERENT dentist (thankfully the latter crowns feel safe and solid). And I can say for sure that the crowns made by Dr Roberts’ lab were not glazed nor balanced for a bite. They are noticeably smaller, thinner and rougher in comparison. That might also be one of the reasons for the acute sensitivity to different temperatures. Almost 2 years later, the hypersensitivity to colder food and beverages is still aggravating and persistent. If it wasn’t so expensive I would have had Dr Roberts’ crowns replaced.
Choose your dentist carefully; I paid a high price for an inferior quality, and most of all, the pain, that should not be there. Dr Roberts refused to take any responsibility.

I had some dental work that needed to be done for a long time but I kept putting it off due to having bad anxiety. Finally I decided to look for a dentist that I was comfortable with and ended up finding Robert’s dental. After emailing and talking to them a few times, I set up an appointment and they were awesome! They saw me straight away and went out of their way to reduce any anxiety or stress I was feeling. I’ve had 4 appointments now and couldn’t be happier with the results. Both Dr Jan and Dr Warren did excellent work and I would recommend them to anyone feeling anxious about going to the dentist.
Dr. Jan and the staff at Roberts Dental are amazing. Dr. Jan and her team go above and beyond to make each experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible. I appreciate the professionalism and the experience and knowledge provided with each visit. I recently had four fillings replaced and was extremely anxious for the appointment however Roberts Dental provided the option for Nucalm which is music listened by headphones and assists in easing tension and promotes relaxing. I found it very effective and helped me relax and ease my anxiety for the procedure. Highly recommended!
