Awful. Unhelpful. Arrogant reception staff named Sarah, they don’t return calls when agreed, and they don’t reply to emails. I was told I needed an extraction, but the procedure could not be done at this practice, so I was referred to another dentist and was told I would have the extraction within 2 weeks. When I called back after 2 weeks, I was told my referral was rejected due to an incorrect x-ray. No one from the dental practice deemed it necessary to inform me or call me in for another x-ray. I asked where the referral was sent so I could chase it myself. I was told by Sarah the receptionist that they have no idea where the referral was sent. So there was no way of chasing this, and I had to wait another 2 weeks make another payment to be seen again. So, I was left without a date for my extraction and had no way of chasing this. I rang 111 again and explained the situation. The 111 operative seemed confused as to why they couldn’t tell me where the referral was sent and called the dental practice to get further information. I was on hold for less than 30 seconds and was told where my referral was sent. Why couldn’t the receptionist explain this to me . Appalling customer service. Please avoid
Attended as an emergency via NHS 111. Initial consultation was brilliant, however, developed an unexpected allergy to the antibiotics. Advised by 111 to ring up and obtain a differant prescription.. spoke to receptionist who was extremely rude and abrupt. Rang 111 to see what I needed to do next, she said she would ring on my behalf. She also reported rudeness and abruptness from both the receptionist and the dentist himself. Not exactly continuity of care is it! To say I was thinking of joining the practice as a private patient on Friday, this is something I will definately not do now.
Amazing visit! Always have a good experience. I have attended this clinic for over 10 years and don’t have a bad word to say about them. Each time I go I receive great feedback, both positive and negative, so that I can make my teeth the best that they can be. I have remained a great relationship with the staff over this time with each one being helpful on a consistent basis whether that be in understanding a procedure or rescheduling an appointment. I would recommend and have always recommended this clinic as an outstanding place to go to!
