Apparently the staff can’t tell you how much it will cost to get something done and when they do, they ended up charging more come check out time. Claimed they don’t know how much it costs! HUH? Allegedly it depends on how much work there is to do. Well, 10-15 minutes of time in the chair with very good teeth and no problems shouldn’t have warranted $75 and instead the $60 I was quoted. Dentist had terrible bedside manner. Called my name then just disappeared to the back instead of greeting me. Not entirely convinced the tools had been sanitized as they were not unwrapped in front of me and the mirror looked dirty. Rushed through the cleaning then wrapped it up without a polish. Seemed put out when I asked for it and when I asked if it DID come with the cleaning, he sort of grumbled. Worst service I’ve ever had by the staff and the hygienist. For $75 you’d think a dentist would actually check for cavities or whatever, which usually takes about 3 minutes but you have to pay extra for that benefit, which obviously I did not. Never heard of that kind of service before and I definitely will not be returning.

Went for a checkup and to have a crown re-glued. Crown was re-glued. Dentist didn’t bother to check that the bite was right. It was too high which caused me a fair amount of pain later in the day.
When he said he was finished I asked about the checkup to which he replied, ‘it all looks good’ and charged me $140 for the 15 mins I was there.
When I phoned in to tell them that I was in pain I was told to come in but they wouldn’t say if I would be charged, so I went to a different dentist who fixed the problem, identified a potential problem, and told me that two fillings were missing and had been for some time – all for $90.
Sloppy work at Seymour High price and I certainly won’t be going there again!

I went there and saw Dinesh Sharma. He gave me an injection under a front bottom tooth even tho I wasn’t getting any work done in that place. It was wicked painful. He said “Sorry, I was just trying to…” And never finished his sentence. Then when he extracted a tooth, he actually threw his full weight into it without warning. Since he only pulled it one direction, he snapped it off at the roots. I had a bad chill for three days afterwards. Terrible human being. I’d recommend Durham Dentists, they’re great.
