We have been there for about 2 years now. My son(10 years old) and daughter(3 years old) got routine examination and cleaning done . The dental office is clean, staffs are friendly, dentist is professional. Everything seems perfect until today.
Yesterday my daughter had 4 crowns done of her 4 upper front teeth . Today 2 of the crowns fell out when I was brushing her teeth this morning. I called the dental office and fortunately dentist was able to glue them back. I told the dentist and his assistant already. But I still want to leave a review for the parent like myself did not know the crowns can fall out this easily. The explanation I received was “try to avoid hard food/sticky food(like candy)”, which my daughter has not had eaten since procedure . Then another reason is her teeth anatomy. Anyway, I wish I knew “the crown might fall out, even the next day”, so I can have a mental preparation for that.
The post op instruction has all the details including the teeth might bleeding, nausea/vomiting…etc, but nothing related to the “fall out” part. I was told it is very rare. But when it happens to your kid, it is 100%.

I went to the facility to get a root canal and crown put on a molar. While in the middle of having the procedure done the dentist stopped and told me his instrument had fallen in the hole where he was doing the root canal and that he was unable to get it out. He then proceeded to tell me that he could send me to a specialist to get it out or he could just pull the tooth. After already being there for hours I asked the dentist what he suggested and he told me to pull the tooth. I had never heard of an instrument falling into the gum and being unretrievable. Now I have a missing tooth and I am still looking for a reputable dentist to fix it. I’m just afraid I am going to have another bad experience like the one I had with Shadow Creek Ranch Dental Specialists.

I had been searching for a new dentist because I have new insurance. Came across the office and decided to call them because I was experiencing some extreme discomfort. I was a new patient and they got me in same day. Wow!! Definitely unheard of and unexpected. When I say they got me in in less than 2 hours and treated me with such care. Dr. A is without a doubt my new dentist. The office staff are very nice and the office is beautiful. Dr. A referred me to a great specialist and walked me through the process and assured me that he’d be who I follow up with afterwards. Great experience. Definitely not the typical dentist experience. Highly recommend this doctor and practice!! Thank you all so much.
