I typically don’t write negative reviews unless it is absolutely necessary. However, I feel compelled to share my experience. I have been a patient of Dr. Lo and regularly received scaling treatments from Stephanie, both of whom are excellent.

Unfortunately, my interactions with the reception team and management were less than satisfactory.

Recently, I needed to shorten my appointment due to urgent work commitments. This was my first time that I had to cancel, reschedule, or change the appointment in a last minutes. However, I was informed that this was not allowed. Despite expressing my willingness to reschedule, I was met with resistance and even threats regarding their no-show policy. I found this level of inflexibility and disregard for patient preferences to be highly unprofessional. Therefore, I wont recommend this dental clinic.

I have been a patient of Dr. Terk since I believe 1997. As a patient, the care that I have had and continue to have, from the ‘top down’ has been terrific. Dr Terk makes you feel like family, very kind, very caring, very professional. I have been seeing the same hygienist, Elvy, for many years, wouldn’t have it any other way. I make my appointments based on her schedule. Just a pleasure to deal with, we share family stories. The admin staff at the front desk are always so cheerful, and make you feel they are genuinely happy to see you, very professional and know what they are doing. The atmosphere throughout the office makes you feel that they care about your teeth and wellbeing, not just to make a buck.
Like I said, from the ‘top down’. If one could say that you enjoy going to the dentist, well…..these are the reasons.

After avoiding dentists for years, I finally booked an appointment at Sheppard Centre Dental and it was the best decision! Dr. Lo, Christina, and Rowena were super friendly and made me feel totally at ease. They were all about making sure I was comfortable and actually listened to my concerns.

Dr. Lo was great at explaining everything without all the jargon, and her team was right there with smiles and pleasant conversation. It felt like catching up with friends who also just happen to be excellent at dental care! 🙂

Honestly, if you’re nervous about going to the dentist or just looking for a place where you’re treated well, this is the spot. Big thanks to Dr. Lo and her team for making my dental comeback a breeze!
