Dr. Shimizu was outstanding. His office was able to accommodate me on a short notice and I’m so appreciative. I was apprehensive about going in but was desperate! Im so glad I didn’t let my fears stop me because he provided one of the best dental experiences by far! ! I’m extremely sensitive & dentist that I’ve been to in the past seemed to ignore that disclaimer, Dr. Shimizu and his staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable before proceeding, during and after the work. I’ve only been to the office once, but I will be returning for all of my work and cleanings. Also I think it’s worth mentioning his assistant who helping with my procedure (I wish I remembered her name) was very personable, kind and knowledgeable. She made sure I understood the process, next steps and explained Everything thoroughly. Huge plus!
Dr. Shimizu is a good dentist, but I can’t deal with his office staff Regina anymore.
I have been going there for the last 3.5 years. They cancelled my appointment twice in one month without a single apology for the inconvenience. For the first two years, I never got the promised email appointment reminder. When I finally mentioned it, Regina said “oh yeah, the emails have always bounced back”. Turns out, she had spelled it wrong in their system.
Their hours are pretty restrictive, and getting worse. I was told that they had to cancelled my last appointment because they will no longer open Fridays now. If you are a busy professional, this is not the practice for you.
Dr. Craig Shimizu has been my Dentist for more than twelve years, and he is worth his weight in gold to me. He is a master at his art, and I recommend him without hesitation. Again and again, he’s gone the extra mile for me, and treats me like a Family member.
I’m over 50, and I know my dental wellbeing is key to my overall health. Thanks to Dr. Shimizu’s expert, kind and gentle care, along with the same from Dr. Ivy Batos, the Periodontist he referred me to for implants, I am certain I’m in extremely dependable hands.
