I just came out of Sierra Dental and just want to share that it was a good experience The entire staff at Sierra Dental is competent professional friendly and they show a lot of empathy Everything they do is with a concern for the patient I’ve noticed that they do their absolute best to make sure that all procedures are as pain free as they reasonably can be so it’s not like other dental offices that I’ve been to where it seems that the procedure is the most important thing In the case of Sierra Dental the patient as a whole is the most important thing and it’s not only the dental procedures that are superb, it’s also the front end staff the ladies that work at the front desk are very professional in dealing with insurance issues and scheduling and so forth I’ve been going to Sierra Dental for about 15 years and I got to tell you Dr Jacob Finlinson is a great dentist I highly recommend Sierra Dental and know that anyone who is a patient of Dr Finlinson will not be disappointed

We have gone to Sierra Dental for years. Dr. Finlinson has been a preferred provider for our insurance the whole time.

Over the last seven months, the dental bills we were getting were much higher than they had ever been before. We asked several different people in the office, over several different times, to explain to us why the charges were ending up so much higher. They all said that that’s just the way insurance is nowadays.

It turns out that seven months ago, Dr. Finlinson decided not to be a preferred provider for our insurance. Nobody told us, even as we asked question upon question about the strange hike in charges. We found out almost by accident while on the phone with our insurance.

It just makes us wonder if they thought, “Well, they’re going to switch dentists when they find out, anyway, so let them figure it out on their own and we’ll take their money ’til then.”

This is my second review of Sierra Dental. The prior review was somewhat negative about their transparency in regard to billing issues. Since then, Dr. Finlinson, himself, has gone above and beyond to rectify the problem and make sure it doesn’t happen again. He has called me personally several times. I really feel like this shows a lot of integrity on his part, and wanted the public to know he will go the extra mile for his patients.
