This is a warning to other parents about Dr. Carla, an orthodontist in the cabinet. I took my 12 year old to see her and Dr Carla spent ~30 minutes doing a hard pitch on Invisalign and warning us about all of the “emergencies” she sees with traditional braces. She said that kids sometimes removed the braces from their teeth and that they could not eat “hard foods”. When I asked what a hard food was, she told us granola bars and nuts. I asked her if carrots were a hard food they couldn’t eat and she said yes. I told her my elder daughter just had her braces off earlier this year and she never had any problems eating anything except corn on the cob, and that she had one minor “emergency” when a brace fell off but it was quickly resolved with no major issue.

Her attempt to persuade us was so blatant, so obvious that I felt like she was seeing my daughter as an ATM machine instead of like a little girl that needed a very simple and easy alignment correction. My daughter remarked how strange it was that Dr. Carla was trying to scare us. How she kept saying there were so many emergencies with traditional braces.

In the end, she charged us 80 euros for a sales pitch. She didn’t even once even look in my daughters mouth.

Ao tentar esclarecer minhas duvidas com a dentista se a dor era normal e da necessidade de algum medicamento, a recepcionista recusou e sugeriu logo novas datas para exames e tratamentos. Desesperada, busquei outra clinica, que finalmente obtive a ajuda necessaria para recuperar meu dente. Destaco a necessidade de uma comunicacao mais transparente e destaco a importancia de buscar segundas opinioes para aprimorar a confiabilidade e eficacia do atendimento.

Sou paciente ha mais de 3 anos e nao podia estar mais satisfeita. Sempre disponiveis para tratar ate das situacoes mais urgentes e procuram sempre oferecer solucoes ajustaveis as diversas necessidades nas diferentes areas. Recomendo muito.
