READ ALL the bad reviews. They are correct!

Went here twice.
1st appointment – Dr.Davis was off putting. While waiting in the dentist chair after getting x-ray done. He pops in the room to overview my X-ray and didn’t even bother to introduce himself. As if I wasn’t even there. While “cleaning” my teeth he is bad mouthing another patient while working on my teeth. After my cleaning the side of my mouth was split and bleeding from pulling my mouth apart so far. I have a very small mouth but I never had any trouble with other dentist working in my mouth. I was in such pain for a year. I was pregnant at the time and didn’t want to get filling until after I had my child.

Fast forward one year later.

The second and LAST time i went was horrible. My mouth was killing me me and this dentist was/is the only place in Lumberton taking Medicaid right now. I told myself I wouldn’t go based on my first experience with Dr.Davis. But I was in pain and desperate for any relief. I should listen to my gut feeling.

Dr.Davis told me I had 6 cavities that would need to be filled. So I decided to go ahead and get them filled. He “filled” 2 mollers. More like shaved 80% of my tooth down. I feel the “filling” was done wrong because still to this day…. 3 years later my teeth are ruined and in pain. After my appointment I left the office with a bloody split mouth. As the doctor chuckling looking at my face with the ladies at the counter while telling me, “yeahhhh…your definitely going to want to take a aspirin or Motrin or something”. Oh I forgot to mention that he was also complaining about other patient before me. Complaining to me about the patient.
(Went to a different dentist months after that. They told me I didn’t need 6 fillings. 2 was needed but NOT 6)

I left that office with dried blood on both the corners of my mouth. I couldn’t eat normally for 3 weeks. My split mouth took forever to heal. When the numbing agent wore off I felt the full extent of his work. You couldn’t pay me to go back here.

The ladies in the office were fine. And his dental assistant was awesome!!! But Dr.Davis should definitely think about how he talks to and around his patients. Also should be more gentle or at least empathetic towards his patients.

Anyone who has had a good experience. You’re one of the lucky ones.

Also I don’t know if you’re sending out letters like the other lady mentioned but I guess I’ll look in the mail for mine after this review.

I called and made a new patient appointment for my daughter weeks ago. I put the appointment in my calendar as I was on the phone with them. I come to the appointment and they tell me that my daughter’s appointment was yesterday and I couldn’t reschedule because she missed her first appointment. My daughter isn’t even an established patient yet, I didn’t even sign any papers yet saying anything about missing appointments but since she missed her first appointment they dismissed her. How can yall dismiss a patient that isn’t even established yet. This is pure stupidity accidents happen stuff gets mixed up but yall just say screw the patient we don’t want them . Do better seriously! I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here honestly.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience. I needed emergency extraction and was able to be seen the day after I called. Everyone was nice and everything was explained by the dental hygienist during my procedure. Dr. Dan is the first dentist I’ve ever had that didn’t make me tear up when administering numbing shots…I didn’t even feel them. I had 3 extractions and haven’t had any pain or problems since then. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone.
