If you’d like to go somewhere were they take advantage of people that don’t fully speak the English language then this is the place.

My wife was there for a clean up. We took advantage of a flyer that came to our home that said an examination would be done for a small fee. We came and did X-rays and the filling was put back the same day. As we were leaving they asked us to schedule a clean up. No issues.

When we came back today and I dropped off my wife who is a Ukrainian immigrant, she was told that the cleaning was 140$. She was confused as she was told that included in last price was her next clean up if she scheduled at that moment. When she called me (I dropped her off) I said, “maybe it was a misunderstanding, let’s just pay the $140 and be done with it.”

She asked the woman again, the $140 is for my cleaning today yes? Again the lady replied yes it’s for your cleaning. My wife signed the to pay the $140 as we agreed to just do it. Still I was not upset. BUT when she called back and told me they looked in her mouth for 10 seconds and then told her that that was the examination was 140$ that she needed to pay additionally for the cleaning I became very upset.

My wife as repeatedly if she was paying for the cleaning, she was told multiple times. I was present when we did the appt the last time and they said it was for a cleaning only to try and up sale work like some used car lot?

If they had been honest and told us everything upfront we would have paid the $799 they quoted at the end. But, instead they lied, as the examination was the first thing we did on the last visit which is why they have her X-rays. They told me they had to examine her last time first….so what they’re saying doesn’t make sense and we will not do business with anyone that is willing to compromise their integrity over $140…at that point what else are you willing to do?

I absolutely love smiles of Virginia Beach, which says a lot considering I do not generally like the dentist too much. I had an emergency situation where I had massive pain, and come to find out it was a fractured tooth. Dr. Pham and her staff took excellent care of me and was able to see me SAME day to get everything taken care of. They ended up having to extract and was so very patient with me throughout the whole process and willing to answer all million-kagiiiiillliooon questions I had. Overall, my experience was so awesome with them and I’m so thankful for this office being able to accommodate on such a short notice and their patience and willingness to help me throughout the whole healing process as well. If you are in need of a dentist, I strongly recommend this office. They will take great care of you! Thank you Dr. Pham and staff!

Dr.Pham & all the ladies in the office here are amazing. I’ve been here 2 yrs with my kids & the staff is super welcoming, sweet & care about your dental health! Dr.Pham is knowledgeable, extremely nice & I know me and my family are in great hands with her. Another thing I love about Dr.Pham is that she takes her time with you & your visit doesn’t feel rushed at all. Our hygienist is lovely! Very sweet, professional & gentle. Front desk ladies are kind, welcoming, & helpful. The dental assistants are also very sweet, gentle & great with kids. This office is a 20/10! Highly recommend
