Had my sons lip tie revised when he was weeks old. Supposedly it was suppose to help with his gas, fussiness and ability to latch to the breast. I can honestly say it did none of this. I felt awful for putting him through the experience. Not sure if it could be related but he also had a speech delay and did speech therapy for a year. Fast forward to three years later when I have my second baby. Also gas issues. Was assessed by janeway dentist who didn’t recommend it. Out of curiosity I went to see Dr. Smith to see what he thought. He immediately wanted to revise her lip tie and was quite abrupt. I thought about it and decided against it. He was then very rude to me. My personal opinion, I think he revises when not needed and is a money gimmick. I’m sure some that he revises are needed but I bet majority are not. When I told my nurse I saw him she also told me she has heard a few bad experiences.

I have taken my two boys here for a few years. My eldest son has had fillings done twice.
He is a patient individual who tries to put my son at ease. Is very quick and tries to get the worst of it done fast.
My other boy is just 3 (sees another dentist who practises in the same offices) and has been frequenting the dental office over the past year and a half to get use to the routine and do fast checks.
The staff are great, friendly and very helpful. I actually dread having to go elsewhere for a kids orthodontist for braces.

Dr.Smith is absolutely amazing with my 2 boys !
He is very caring and understanding and lots of patience and tells funny jokes
