I have been going to this dental office since I was around 11 years old, and I am soon going to be an adult. When I was young, the dentists, and the receptionist were quite nice. But, these past 2 years, the way they treat their clients has changed. The receptionist was disrespectful to my mother, and as a teenager watching her raise her voice to my mom, it was no longer an environment I liked. Recently, I had to get a filling because I had a cavity. I could sense that the man who was doing my filling was drilling vigorously into my tooth. I remember wondering how he would treat younger patients considering his aggressiveness with me. Three days later, I noticed my tooth got very sensitive, and I could feel intense sharp pains that would often stop me from sleeping at night. I visited another dental office, took X-rays, and their orthodontist told me that my previous dentist drilled too close to my nerves which is what is causing me this excruciating pain. I now need a root canal. My mother called them explaining my situation and they did not apologize, and did not care at all for what I had to go through because of their dentists. I have not gotten my root canal yet, and I am typing this review frustrated with my experience with that particular male dentist, the receptionist, and my overall experience.
I have now been to SNY Dental a few times and I can say that my experience has been wonderful. The clinic its self is clean and has a warm welcoming atmosphere. Furthermore, the staff are friendly and patient. The Doctor will listen to your needs and do their best to finding the perfect treatment plan that’s fit for you!
I would recommend this place to my friends & family.
Most people associate anxiety and pain with the word Dentist. However, my experience here has been the complete opposite. Ayla is the absolute BEST professionally, and has a heart of gold! Since coming to her in 2011, she has provided superior quality care for our family. Our relationship is strictly professional and I would recommend her services in a heartbeat.
