I needed a root canal, filling, and crown. I was FREAKING out for 2 weeks leading up to the procedure. Anxiety was at an all time high…..I can’t express enough how comfortable I felt only minutes into the procedure. They numbed me first with a topical ointment that tasted like butt. After, Dr. Gahndi came in with the local anesthetic (which I was dreading), and I hardly felt a thing (I let out a sigh after the 1st injection, but I’m a wimp). Once the drilling started it seemed like it might get worse the deeper he drilled but if not for the vibration of the tool, I could’ve fallen asleep. There was a 50% chance my tooth could be saved and sure enough, Dr. Gahndi was able to save it. He was able to do my root canal, filling, and crown prep all within 4 hours and now I’m home. They prescribed me motrin for the pain and amoxicilin to prevent infection but the pain is minimal. I joined the military at 18 and was ready to die……now I’m 31 with kids and a wife and have never been more terrified in my life for anything. It was unwarranted fear and if you’re reading these reviews to convince yourself you’ll be OK (like I did) I can assure you, you’ll leave here saying “that wasn’t bad at all”. God bless you all!
Just wanted to update my review and make it more personal. Dr. Gandhi and staff are very caring, compassionate, sweet, trustworthy, and amazing. They work with your needs and don’t make you feel overwhelmed at any time. Dentists scare me a lot, yet here they’ve made my experiences a hundred times more calming and safe. I’ve never had such a good experience at a dentist before like I did here. After 3 years, this is the only dentist I trust. Dr. Gandhi is the absolute best! He truly cares about my teeth and I recommend this dentistry to everyone I know.
Dr Mahabir and Dr Gandhi are both great! Everyone at South Friendswood Dental are very nice and friendly. I do have bad teeth and have made many visits doing extractions and fillings, and each time I know I am in good hands. Everyone puts you at ease and makes sure you are okay before, during, and after the procedures. Usually people dislike the dentist but I do not mind because I know I will always be treated well at South Friendswood Dental
