So miss the doctors of the past where they really cared about your health and if they were unsure they would refer you to someone who is knowledgeable. Im still feeling my doctor out. Been at staywell for years. However, under much stress ive called in to ask a question or relay a message to my doctor and have been accused of being a way that im not. I understand 2 or 3 calls in a day from the same person is frustrating on top of other things. Daily ive dealt with with aggressiveness, abusive speach, threats, etc(at work), yet i maintain my attitude because i know that some are going through Much. I like my doctor, the front desk has gotten so much better, however in the back when i need to speek to a nurse option, attitudes, hung up on, i still try to maintain my attitude. However when one is already going through much with health & etc, one of the important people in your life become your health provider and staff. This is just adds to other life happenings that digs one deeper into a depressive state
I’ve stayed away from Dr’s after my experiences unless it was necessary, going undiagnosed and in pain most of my life self medicating also. I’m getting older now and started taking my health more seriously. I’ve also been to the south main office decades ago, I say that to say this, Phoenix ave has been a pretty good experience so far with my primary (Dr Lea) and staff taking the time to listen and be concerned about my issues and coming up with options for me. I recently had a flare up with a pinched nerve. Took a few days to get in but I know they are busy and try their best to help the community here. I was seen by Dr Barth which was pleasant, helpful and am already feeling some relief. After seeing some negative reviews I just wanted to give credit where credits due and say thanks. I would give a 5 star but gave a 4 since there’s always room for improvement in our Healthcare system.
I went in for a consultation to get a crown put in. My insurance will not cover the procedure so that is why I was looking for an affordable option. Even though they knew I didn’t have insurance to cover it, they still asked for my insurance info so they could submit a claim, and would not give me an appointment or estimate until they submitted the claim and got the response from the insurance. I was annoyed but figured it was just a part of their process that they had to get the denial. It’s been 3 weeks now since I went for the consultation, and they still haven’t even submitted the claim! I liked the hygienist, but the receptionists don’t know what they are doing, and I am going elsewhere for the procedure.
