Reviews:
What a HORRIBLE experience. The 70 yr old fake plastic office manager is a heartless and Plastic Elvira with mountainous plastic installed on her face and chest. It doesn’t hide her age though.

My long time dentist retired months back. So I haven’t found a new one. And unfortunately, a part of mouth tooth chipped off and fell out a week or so ago. Lots of pain!!

So I make an appointment here bc they were the only local dentist I could get in quickly.

Now I know why.

Upon making the appt, I was informed since my dental insurance was out of network Id owe the difference.

No problem. Except that’s not what happened.

Upon arriving I asked specifically for any charges I would need to pay oop after the exam.

The front office person acted strange and was non-committal. My business failed end of 2023 so things have been tight for us as I have 3 children.

I was told by her she would let me know after verifying the insurance.

But then I was called back.

Once in the chair, I once again inquired. This woman was nice but went to the front and was gone for several minutes.

This is when she brought Plastic Elvira.

Despite having insurance thru an employer, a Preferred PPO plan, Elvira told me I’d owe the full exam and X-ray fee out of pocket. Which was $150. I was then told by the Fake Skinned Elvira that if more work was required I would owe that oop as well.

I refused. I’d did that have that cash available that day but could have easily paid any charges billed later. She then told me to call a Good Samaritan clinic LOL. What? With a PPO dental plan? Was she high? Was she misinformed? Does she have mental illness? Did the plastic leak into her blood stream?

The amazing thing is I found a wonderful dentist in Carrollton that despite being OON, filed thru my insurance and I paid zero out of pocket.

It’s stuck up elitist people like Plastic Elvira that makes this country horrible. Narcissism and greed. Don’t go to Stiehl. They only care about their revenue and margins.

I was in severe pain with PPO insurance and this witch didn’t want to deal with it.

So I have been to this dentist several times. Let me just say that Dr. Stiels work is good. The other dr.s are okay. The hygienist that work there are great ad well. My issue and problem with this place is they’re front desk. I’ll start by saying I have spent alot of money and time here… from cleanings to xrays to fillings. But one day I called to make an appointment, and the younger girl at the time misunderstood me and scheduled me for the wrong date. They called me out of the blue one day and said that I have missed my appointment (that they got wrong) well they told me they were going to charge me $200 for missing an appointment that they got wrong, long story short, after telling them I wasn’t gonna pay for her misunderstanding, she kept hanging the phone up everytime I would call to make the right appointment. That all went on for two months. I decided to try a new dentist. Two years go bye and I call them to make an appointment for my son.. well they pick the phone up and once I tell them my name. They say hold on I have to look at some notes on your profile. Well appthry have jotted down bad and misleading information… becuase an older lady picks the phone up and says, since you missed an appointment we have to take your payment upfront… without insurance! I have never heard of such a thing nor have I ever been targeted like this. I wonder if the doctors know what kind of service they are turning away just from they’re front desk. It was basically saying we do not want to help you or your family over such a small misunderstanding on THEYRE end!! I’ve been wanting ro make this post the last time I was denied(two years ago) and now I feel I have to over being ran away for a second time.. even though I have paid for service here many times without issues. I would go somewhere else if I were looking for a dentist. Trust me!!!
I usually don’t leave reviews but after our last dental experience my family and I had major anxiety with trying to find trustworthy dentist. From the front desk, to the doctor, everyone was amazing. The environment is healthy, happy and relaxing. We are so grateful!!! And Tiffany thank you for making my appointment today enjoyable.
