What drew me to Strive Dental was that their ‘20% OFF FOR UNINSURED PATIENTS’ policy.. In a world where most companies take every opportunity to gouge you whenever possible, discovering Strive Dental was a reminder that there are still good people in the world.

The administration staff are extremely competent, resourceful, responsive and along with being super friendly and kind they are also very willing to spend the time to explain upcoming procedures as well as breakdown your bill.
They also understood my communication preference and communicated with me via text. (I hate the phone)

Dr Ali is one hell of a dentist. She doesn’t upsell you on procedures you don’t need, unlike other dentists I’ve been to……she understands that money doesn’t grow on trees and that some people can only afford what’s necessary. She doesn’t make you feel bad if you haven’t been for a cleaning in a while. She is quick, ultra efficient, very considerate and prioritizes your comfort. She’s also super sweet and her assistants clearly love her dearly. She treats her staff with kindness and respect. This is super important to me… it say a lot about this clinic.

I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic. I’ve referred my loved ones to this clinic.

If you are a bit of a baby and are not a big fan of dentists or pain, this clinic for you.

If times are tight and you’re also struggling with the rising cost of living these days…. This dental clinic is for you.

If you don’t have insurance, this dental clinic and ( its 20% off policy ) is for you.

*I have had extractions (even a complicated one), amalgam fillings replaced with composite (the white kind) and I’ve just had a beautiful bridge put in…. I’m very happy with the results and the experience. Thanks ladies!!!

Dr. Ali provided incredible service.

However, I encountered significant issues with the front desk staff. When I visited the clinic at 1:15 pm needing my insurance paperwork filled out because they refused to help me over the phone, the receptionist refused assistance, instructing me to wait until 1:45 pm for her lunch break to conclude, with no backup coverage available. This lack of front desk management raises serious concerns about the clinic’s operational efficiency. Regrettably, due to this experience, I will not be returning.

Update: The same receptionist called me at 2:50 PM on the same day, inquiring if I was the individual who came in person today to get my insurance forms filled out (must have identified me from my google review). She proceeded to tell me that I can email my forms to her, and she will fill out the section that needs to be completed by the dentist for me. She also attempted to deflect blame, stating that she was on her lunch break, implying that her behavior was justified. However, the standard dental claim form is something the receptionist likely deals with daily, and it would not have taken more than 5 minutes to complete.

It’s unfortunate that Dr. Ali’s exceptional care is overshadowed by the unprofessional treatment from the receptionist.

Last year I was price quoting for some major dental work to be done. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a dentist. The whole experience was appauling. They called the day before and asked if I could come an hour early, which I did, only to have to sit in the waiting room for the extra hour. The dentist was very loud when speaking to me as well as talking down to me and when she telling the receptionist what to put for the price quote she was standing on the other side of the receptionist area so everyone in the waiting room and nearby could hear. Every other dentist I went the dentist went close to the receptionist and lowered their voice. Yes my teeth were bad and I was getting a quote to have them all pulled but does everyone in the waiting room and patients in the rooms need to know that as well? What happened to Doctor/Patient confidentiality and just bloody respect?!?! So disgusted! In the end I want to thank you though because my money went to a dentist who truly deserves it and is such a caring person. If you want a really good dentist I very highly recommend Dr Quadir at Cedar Ridge Dental in Maple Ridge. Her and all of her staff are so amazing and so kind!
