I had a terrible experience with Tendens Tandartsen as they totally messed everything. I waited a couple of months to write this and I would like to share my experience as it could have been drastic consequences. In short I was almost losing my proper working teeth if I would have listened to the advise from them. I felt something was off and terribly going wrong. I immediately went to my home country for treatment and received proper care. When I came back I called them to inform that I am not coming back as I have zero trust and I asked my referral to ACTA specialist in periodontology which I should have been directed in the first place. During my intake specialist at ACTA also confirmed that the treatment I got in my home country was successful and there is indeed no need that my teeth should have been taken out and they were very surprised how Tendens Tandartsen got a conclusion like this. ACTA also shared my report with them so it can be seen there as well. And instead of receiving any response to my complaint I only received invoices from this place.
I have been at Tendens Tandartsen for 20 years. I have always received good care from the dentists and the dental hygienists. But the last couple of years, scheduling appointments has been such a headache. Yesterday I tried to schedule an appointment for the hygienist, and they had nothing available for 9 months! This goes against all professional advice, even their own advice, about how often to visit the hygienist. It’s just been far too much work make and keep appointments at this practice.
Planned to go for dental cleaning and check up within 2019. Registered in May first time, I could go in October. Follow up dental cleaning was planned for November, it was cancelled on the day before due to the person supposed to treat me being ill. Alternative appointment was offered earliest in February. Rather don’t accept new patients if you have no time for treating them.
