I am 64 and have used this Dentist for over 50 years and Mr Scannell was fantastic, he just kept you relaxed with the irish blarney whilst he got on with it.
Like most of us I didnt relish a visit and even a change is a worry as you do prefer to get used to one person.
I have had Adam Kantharia as my dentist more recently and he has been absolutely fantastic !
I have lost a lot of teeth over the years and couldnt go through the denture process mainly due to the impression process and tooth removal was also an issue both these as I am quite claustrophobic.
Adam has been so kind, caring, gentle and reassuring, explaining each part of the treatment as it progressed and taking his time, talking and reassuring you, giving you that moment/ that space if needed
Because of this skill oaver the last year that he has treated me he has removed several rotten teeth and managed to produce me a set of top and bottom dentures and after all the fear the way he handled the process has helped me to believe in dentistry as not been that bad.
Adam has also treated my 95 year old mother in the same period achieving the same, dentures top and bottom and she too was very nervous.
Thank you so much Adam, I will really miss you but good luck in your new position they are very lucky to have you

Needed a visit to the hygienist and my first ever tooth removal. Had both services done here, and both where done FANTASTICALLY.
Hygienist was thorough and efficient with excellent advise on maintaining my dental health.
My Tooth removal was excellent, done incredibly swiftly, absolutely painlessly, and with amazing consideration.
Even the receptionists are helpful and nice people.
To top it off they where very reasonably priced. Cannot recommed this Dental practice highly enough.

Having lost half my tooth, I went to see the dentist Emma and dental nurse Sue, who carefully prepared my tooth, did a root canal, impressions and a temporary crown until my matched crown arrived. It fitted perfectly and I would never of known it was not my own tooth. I would certainly recommend Emma and all the team at the Avenue Dentistry. Thank you
