After visiting my normal nhs Dentist just over a week ago with tooth ache for the wisdom tooth and a small pain every so often in another tooth, they said I needed a crown and kept pushing to have it done on the tooth that had the odd pain. They said my wisdom tooth looked healthy.
A week later my filling fell out my wisdom tooth creating sharpe edges and a big hole.
After hearing of some stories from the relevant nhs dentists I had been to I felt I needed somewhere that was honest and trusting. I was recommended the Dental Barn by my wife who had found them when there were no nhs dentists about.
So I phoned them up and to arrange an appointment. The first dealing I had was with the receptionist which instantly helped me feel like I had made the right decision. Extremely polite and friendly. I explained the situation I was in and they did their best to accommodate me as quickly as possible.
I’m not normally nervous but I was for the first appointment for some reason. But even just turning up the staff and everyone was extremely friendly and polite. Even the other patients were very chatty and helped my nerves calm. Being called in the dentist was so polite and friendly. They calmed my nerves by just explaining everything the whole way through. They were honest and upfront with everything and confirmed the tooth that was recommended for a crown looked healthy. They filled my wisdom tooth with a temp filling until they can get better X-rays but explained again once they have this they can see the extent of the decay that had occurred and advised if it would be a filling or recommendation for extraction.

I have felt very reassured by the team and now want to continue my treatment with the Dental Barn. They are so honest, friendly, kind and caring.

The barn is located in a beautiful setting which calms me a little. It was my first appointment and the best experience that I have had at the dentist in years. Tori explained everything, they seem quite high tech which helps when they are explaining treatment options, all very relaxed. I dread the dentist but they made it far less scary than normal. Highly recommend

Tori the dentist is excellent and I have such confidence in her and she makes you feel very relaxed. Her nurse with the dark hair is professional and the surgery is spotlessly clean.
I cannot praise the practice enough.
