This office used to be great. It no longer is. Do not go here!!!

Dr. Do himself is lovely, and I used to always see him. The last few times, I’ve booked with Dr. Do but when I show up to my visit, he’s somehow busy and they try to stick me with someone else. Normally I just reschedule so I only see Dr. Do but this last time, I was about 8 weeks postpartum and had already arranged childcare for my baby, so I just said fine.

Big mistake. This new dentist said I had advanced periodontal disease and needed deep cleaning and laser gum treatment. She told me all my teeth would fall out if I didn’t do this treatment. All in it cost like 2k. No one explained the signs of periodontal disease I had or showed me my x-rays. Just threatening words and insisting I needed the treatment. They even made me sign some kind of paper stating I knew the risks of the disease.

I refused the laser but agreed to the deep cleaning because I was afraid pregnancy had wrecked my teeth somehow. It was insanely painful and I spent 45 minutes sobbing in the chair as the dentist worked on my teeth. I had just had a baby, I’m not bad with pain, this was just on another level.

I went for a second opinion later that month with another dentist. They looked at my X-rays and immediately said I had ZERO signs of periodontal disease which is clinically diagnosed on bone loss and I had no bone loss.

My dental insurance agreed. They’ve refused to cover ANY of the deep cleaning because they see no signs of periodontal disease on the X-rays and documents prosper dental submitted. I’ve called the front office at prosper to ask for a direct peer to peer review with my insurance. They said they’d do it, but they never did. My insurance confirms they never heard from them for the peer to peer. Now prosper dental is sending me the portion of the bill insurance wouldn’t cover. I had already paid 400 at the time of the cleaning, but they want another 400 now.

The last 5 or so times I’ve called prosper dental I’ve been left on hold for ages, hung up on, or told Lauren the office manager would get back to me but she never does. They’ll probably comment on this review to call them to discuss despite the many many times I’ve already called.

I paid my bill to settle my account so I can be free of this place. But heed my warning. DO NOT COME HERE. They preyed on an exhausted new mother and fleeced her of 800 bucks.

If I could give them 0 stars I would – exclusively based on office staff and management. I didn’t get a chance to see the provider.

I was referred to this office for Dr. Do. I have a very hectic work schedule and I value my time. I scheduled time for both myself and my boyfriend on the same day, both of us with Dr. Do. Interestingly enough he and I had night and day experiences. He had a morning appointment and had 5 star experience. Two hours before my appointment at 1pm, an office person called to see if I wanted to move my appointment up to 12pm. No other details so I assume that she is moving my appointment with Dr. Do up. I change my schedule to come early. As I begin checking in, I see that Dr Do is not who the 12pm appoint is with. The lady I talked to on the phone did NOT say changing my appointment time would also change the provider. I tell the lady at the front desk and ask her for my original appointment time back. She said she wasn’t the one who called me and that she didn’t know if I could get my original time back. She said she had to talk to the lady in the back who had called me to find out. She was gone for 15 minutes. When she came back she told me that he could for sure do the X-rays and the exam, but if he was backed up that he wouldn’t be able to do the cleaning. I asked her if they scheduled someone else over my appointment time. She said no, he had existing appointments that were scheduled online weeks ago. I told her I scheduled my appointment online with him weeks ago too. They are either over scheduling the providers or not managing time well in their office. Either way I will not be doing business with them. They wasted my time spent waiting in the office and caused me to waste a day off work.

Well my daughter had a surgery 2 days ago, the moment we stepped in the clinic the front lady was ranting on me,she was so rude as if it was out fault being there! She said why i did not pick up the phone she said she’s been calling me multiple times,i told her i made the schedule for a reason and if i can’t pick up it means im out of reach and im busy. Surgery was a success the problem is 1 prescription is not available and when i called the clinic again the following day for request to transfer prescription, same lady again answered the phone she knows it was me,she put me on hold for 10mins and i cant wait anymore so i called back again at 3:50pm she put me on hold again and left me hanging! i called back again for the 3rd times and different lady answered and still cannot get the answer!!so frustrating,bunch of unprofessional people shouldn’t be working in that clinic!!!get rid of these kind of peoplein your clinic,they ruin your business! ..the dentists in this clinic the are the best esp. Dr. Do!
